Two decent seasons with 14 games total have been the sparse highlights for Howard, but the Bucs can’t lock him up for the future without a departure from the constant injuries and inconsistent play". Howard was the 19th pick in the 2017 draft, and the Bucs had to go out and sign Gronk for $12M in 2020. Now he is coming off 2 consecutive years that even Tommy Sweeney wouldn’t be proud of.
