Wizard
I know we are 4-0, so this is a win worth celebrating. However, the Bills have a troubling trend of not closing out games, playing to "not lose," and not going for the knockout blow on either defense or offense. Again, we are a good team, but the Bill's farted away the last 7 minutes with no urgency or commitment to go for the juggler. Should have won 37-16 and played too the whistle.

The Bills played to run out the clock. Guess what happened. The clock ran out. Mission accomplished. 3 2

CLTbills
Welcome to the NFL. And they accomplished what they set out to do. Burn the clock and win. That's what they did. Edited October 5, 2020 by CLTbills

Dan
Yeah the Bills don’t win by enough. We suck. It really gets old these kind if hot takes. The Bills won. The led the entire game. We’re 4-0. Enjoy the ride! 1
Aussie Joe
Allen had a great game and I am absolutely over the moon about how he is throwing the ball this season and the great catches from the receivers... But... You cant take that sack when they were on the verge of going up three scores and icing the game.. They got away with it today... wouldnt want to see them do it too often though.. 2
Rc2catch
It’s league wide though. Goes hand in hand with bad defense. Browns were killing Dallas today. Pressure non stop.Until the 4th quarter. Yet Dallas creeped back in. It’s a trend for a lot of teams. This season is not normal. Leave the virus stuff out of it. Defenses are off their games, refs are allowing more stuff to be uncalled, seems to be less emphasis on run games across the league, it’s just a weird start. BuffaloRebound
It wasn’t pretty at the end but we still got the W. Pass rush got better when it mattered. Most troubling thing for me is the kicker. He’s gonna cost us a game soon.

NickelCity
We're all piling on the OP (we did win and run out the clock), but there is an element of shakiness to our game, esp. on D. As mentioned above it doesn't seem to be unique to us, we're 4-0, and Josh Allen is the One.

Doc Brown
It's written in each player's contract that they're forced to give fans a heart attack each weekend before pulling out the win.
Ethan in Cleveland
They only made one mistake. The pass play sack on 3rd down in FG range. That has to be a run and kick to go up by three scores Other than that they played the clock well.

RiotAct
I had no problem with the play calling after we went up by 2 scores. Of course, that play where Allen stumbled after taking the snap had my heart in my throat.. 😬
Penfield45
it was that 3rd down sack that ruined it run the ball there take time off and make the FG and its a 17 pt lead and game over. we don't worry about recovering the onside kick for the 3rd straight week in a row. YoloinOhio
This is not college. They played a 2-1 team on the road and won, beating the spread. The defense has not been “shut down” but if you watch any other NFL games, it isn’t bad either.

blacklabel
Before the Raiders final TD, the defense had locked it down pretty well, because the previous four drives were punt, fumble, punt, fumble. Defenses around the league are out of sorts right now, just seems to be taking a bit more time than usual to find a groove. Hopefully this performance gives the defense some confidence and they can keep it up going forward. I wonder if McDermott took over play calling or at least had some direct orders for Frazier. Also, they can go ahead and call Zo now. Edited October 5, 2020 by blacklabel

BillsFan130
I would actually say the opposite this time. The bills should have went more conservative after they stopped the raiders on 4th down. Run the balk 3 times, kick the field goal and go up 17, and the game is over.
