At this point all these talking heads in ESPN, Fox ect. are all morons and are just repeating what they are told by whoever writes their scripts.

Yeah, i think that is how most of these tv and radio shows go. Same stuff from when my alarm clock goes off till the drive home after work.

Burrow & Mahomes get so much more respect than Josh.

JA was perfect in the playoffs last year.  9 TD's, no picks.  One of the best, most clutch games a QB has had in the playoffs.

But he is getting so disrespected this week - by pundits, by opposing fans.  It's a little frustrating to see & read it all as a fan, but I have a feeling he's going to have one of those "sssssshhhhh" games on Sunday.

Yes, Allen was terrific in the playoffs last year in two games. And this year, he’s reverted right back to the erratic inconsistency that preceded those two playoff games. Best QB hype was gone by November.

Meanwhile, Mahomes yawned his way to another MVP. There’s a reason he gets more respect…

…because he’s not erratically inconsistent.

Josh sat about a full game due to being on the bench during blowouts, played one less game, had 6 or so more games of terrible weather than mahomes had, played in a sling several weeks due to an elbow injury,  and is protected by a significantly worse offensive line than mahomes.

Despite all of that, he finished with 3 less tds and 500 or so less total yards than mahomes did.

if mvp actually meant most valuable player, josh would win it every year. But it is just an on paper stats award.

He's also consistently had a much better offense around him.  Allen tries to do too much himself because of offensive deficiencies imo.

Not to mention KC’s offense seems tailored to get him gaudy passing stats. Shovel passes and fake handoffs where you flick it forward 3 inches? Also his team must lead the league in YAC which makes things a lot easier for him.

Sure the YAC is partially him throwing accurate passes on time, but I think it’s 90% scheme personally.

Given all the talk of Dorsey being a step down from Daboll, the Bills lacking talent overall on offense, etc, I thought this was super interesting.

In terms of DVOA, this year’s Bills offense was the best of the Josh Allen era.

The last memory of this offense was the perfect game and 13 seconds.  The mid season struggles on offense (Jags, Colts, Pats) that cost us at least the two seed are easily forgotten.

The critics are saying that the Bills' offensive success is pretty much all due to Allen. I agree. Mahomes has the best line in football protecting him; Burrows has one of the best receiving corps. Allen has Diggs, and that's it.

If Allen was out for the season on the first day this year, this team would not have won more than five or six games.

Stop the presses!  Offensive success is primarily due to star quarterback!  Who would’ve thunk it!

I still find it remarkable that user names MILFHUNTER#1 thru 517 were taken already.

They were available until last summer when all of a sudden there was an increase in users from New Jersey wanting that username.

My favorite for this week has been how since burrow didn’t play a great game this past week they’ve been referencing all of last years postseason(which was honestly quite pedestrian) as an argument for him going forward. But I’ve not see one person bring up Allen’s historic 2 game run from last season. Every show is “how many more to’s will Allen have this week?”

It’s honestly baffling. Watching the tv today one would have thought the Bills were a 9-8 Cinderella 7 seed as opposed to a 14-3 team coming into the week on a freaking 8 game win streak. How do the Bills even stand a chance against Burrow and his 7 tds in 5 playoff games!!!???

What did we learn this week again…if Allen throws for 3 TDs he’ll have the most passing tds in his first 8 playoff games in league history (20) and if he does 3 passing tds and 300 yards it will be his 5th straight playoff game doing it, also a league record.

…but once again people want so much to try and get back to him being such a flawed QB who is just about to turn into Wentz or on a higher end Cousins.

Yeah, he’s not and he won’t.

Why?  Because he is just plain one of the best QBs in this league…top 3…why can’t people just accept this?

Lamar had 13 INTs in 11 games last year...and everyone was calling for him to be MVP.

The Chiefs lost two games this year with Mahomes throwing game ending picks with a chance to win. He single handedly cost them the AFCCG last year when he turned into Nathan Peterman at halftime.

I've been plenty critical of Allen but the talk this week re him and the Bills is out of control.

This and your earlier takes have been solid, Process, especially with pulling the reality of the limitations of other QBs that just seem to disappear when they do the Allen comparison.

Thank you and cheers, brother.

I think it’s rooted in the need for so many to believe their priors were correct on Josh. Despite all the evidence to the contrary, he simply must be regressing to what so many believed him to be coming into the League.

If you are going to the game and haven’t had Graeters ice cream, I highly recommend finding this truck

I don’t know if I can think of anything I’d like less than ice cream when it’s 30 degrees outside.  I’d be glad to slash that truck’s tires, though.

I’d love to see James Cook get 75% of the snaps on offense. It’s time to play your best players and he is by far the BEST RB we have on the roster.

Last thing we saw from Singletary was closing a game like Mariano Rivera.  He’s playing very well and won’t lose snaps.

I’ll tell you one thing, i trust Singletary a lot more getting the handoff on 3rd and 1 or short yardage.  Motor does not go down with arms reaching out to grab him. He runs through tackles better than James Cook right now.  I also think he has better vision to find the seam at this stage in his career.

That’s not to say i don’t want Cook to get any carries,  just not 75% like you suggest.

No other QB comes close to comparing.  This is yet another reason why Josh is the difference.

Love this stat.

Mahomes TDs seems to be 1-3 yard TD passes to McKinnon, or Kelce takes a short/medium  pass to the house with lots of YAC

True but those are skills too.  So many teams lose games by stalling or making mistakes in the deep red zone and with KC they just cash in.

They compliment each other well so it's 50/50 for me or maybe 60/40 depending on the opponent. With a full offseason to train Cook could increase his load though.

And what in the world does "chop it up" mean (I'm the guy in the class that asks the question that others are too embarrassed to ask . . . : ) )?

It means he wants to have a cooking competition with him lol

I think chop it up is pretty well understood but for those that dont know it means to have a casual conversation or catch up. Like friends gets together to chop it up.
