wppete
Now that John Brown is off the IR do we sit him against the Patriots, give him one week to get completely healthy and give him limited reps against Miami To get him Ready for the playoffs? Hope he comes back 100% healthy and ready to go because with him healthy in the lineup that offense is unstoppable.
ogham26
if hes fully ready he needs to play and get some snaps in. it would not be ideal to just throw him into the playoff game after missing so much time. 22
Big Turk
Whenever they feel he is back at 100% and not before...unless it's him playing at like 90% in the first playoff game obviously...

If not, rest.

whatdrought
If he’s healthy enough to play, play him this week to knock the rust off then sit him against Miami unless # 2 is on the table.

Mark Vader
If he's 100% ready to go, then play him, but he doesn't have to be in on 90% of the snaps. Ease him in and have him ready to go for the playoffs.
Miyagi-Do Karate
I would bubble wrap Him. He doesn’t need reps. He needs to be 100%. He’s been dinged up all year.
freddyjj
Limited snaps. They could play him in 4 WR or empty sets to take deep safety away or force cover 2 man under coverage
Hampton Josh fan
John Brown needs to get out there and start contributing. This guy has been either hurt unavailable most of the year. Limit his snaps but get him in game shape for the 1st playoff game. I like Smoke, but if you can't stay on the field, Gabe Davis can be our 3rd receiver. Don Otreply
Ya can’t sit him and then just throw him in cold into a playoff game, he needs to be at game speed previous to the playoffs. It is a silly azs debate, if he is off IR he is healthy enough to start having snaps, to not play him is to purposefully keep that talent on the side line, and that doesn’t show much brain power does it... That and we will be playing for playoff seeding for the rest of the regular season, so this resting the starters horse sh-t is just absurd. Jmo😁👍 Go Bills!!!
Malazan
Is this even a question? Of course you play a guy that's been out for weeks who fill a starting position. Why would you wait for a playoff game for him to see snaps?
gordong
Has he even been officially taken off IR? because as of yesterday he was still on it... we had 21 day from last week.

I believe they said Diggs foot was stepped on and wasn't serious (might have been McD post game presser). I'm sure there will be more coming out later.

eee1776
Diggs might need some rest (Foot), Play Brown instead if he is ready. Gilmore might be out next week and possibly change of quarterback for next weeks game.

LABILLBACKER
I personally think you rest him Monday and give him 50% of his normal reps against Miami. You want him to knock a little rust off going into the playoffs. Having him 80-90% going into playoff game 1 would be huge.
Mango
Probably kicks some of the rust off this week with Josh and get into rhythm. Still feels like how we play week 17 is 50/50 on starters and what could be at stake. Do it now with the first time and put him on a pitch count, that way we have some freedom on what to do with him against the fins.

Hebert19
Yup. As said above. He needs some plays this week and next so he gets timing back with Josh. Even if he's just a decoy and runs straight line a few plays.
dma0034
Lets say he's 80% right now then I'd say exclusive used on 3rd downs until the playoffs. I'd really like him to get some action in before the postseason.
BuffBills51
If he is 100% healthy you play him. I personally think he will be on a snap count when he comes back for the next two weeks.
