I think every game was big after KC lost and we took the number one seed. Even if we beat cin this week. Guess what next week playing NE will be a huge game , because I’m sure they want to end on a hi note plus we all no they hate us. So every game until the season is over is huge.

They have a very good chance of beating Bridgewater and the Fins this week to set up a potential playoff berth for themselves as crazy as it sounds. If they beat the Fins then it's win and in for them against us.

They should prepare to be very disappointed in that case.

They may also be playing for a playoff spot if they beat the Dolphins on Sunday.

These next two weeks are absolutely huge

I just don't think NE matches up well vs the Bills. Of course, it won't be an easy game to win. I just think the Bills are quite a bit better than NE. They would have to make a lot of mistakes to lose that game.

It’s a Sunday 1pm game so chances are there will be a host of mistakes.

KC very likely wins out.

I don't think it's a stretch to say that quite a bit of this team's SB hopes lay in the balance on Monday night.  It's not dramatic to say that. The differences between the top 3 AFC teams are so thin - homefield, and getting the extra week, are crucial this season.

Of course a championship is still possible if the Bills lose.  But it goes from being a mild incline, to a pretty steep mountain.  This is such a big, big game.  I want KC to have to make that trip to Buffalo.

This should be a good game. If I was to break it down:

QB: EVEN.  Both are elite and can take over a game.

RB -Bengals — they actually run the ball with Mixon who is a good RB

OL — Both are suspect IMO. I give the edge Bills

DL — even

LB — Cinci

Secondary - Bills

I predict a close game..  a winner by less than 3.

No GM would take Burrow over Allen, not even Cinci’s.  He’s elite, but he’s a notch below Allen & Mahomes.  He has the best weapons in the game and was riding in the backseat during their Super Bowl run last year.

RB.. Do they?

Joe Mixon 4.0 YPC

Samaji Perine 4.2 YPC

Devin Singletary 4.6 YPC

James Cook 5.1 YPC

Logan Wilson & Germaine Pratt over Matt Milano and Tremaine Edmunds?….

If the Bills are in the 1 seed going into week 18, don’t be surprised if Bills/ Pats is moved to 4 pm. I believe KC is 4 pm and the NFL won’t want the Chiefs to know the outcome.

I’d be a lot more afraid of Mixon that singletary.

As for QB? First Allen is a notch below Mahomes… I don’t think you can say they are equals with Mahomes going to 2 SB, and already being a league MVP..  Also I think Burrows and Allen are even.. I’d be hard press to choose which one I’d want more. (I’m not biased neither one is or ever will be my teams QB)  They are both great QBs and like I said IMO I’d be hard press to choose which one to draft if I was a GM. Mind you not like it’s a bad choice whichever one you choose.

They are all TBD right now they do this on purpose and schedule the games after week 17 and games that impact each other go in same slot.

Absolutely. Yet the sky will be falling for some. No doubt it is a gigantic game, but those saying “the playoffs start now!” are over inflating.

If the Bills lose, they still come back the next week. They still get home field advantage in the wildcard round. They still have a chance. It is not the playoffs, but it would certainly be an amazing position to be in.

Have you watched Josh Allen play the hoodie the last 3 years?

Fwiw… I’d take Mixon over Singletary too, but the sample size is pretty large.  Bengals haven’t ran the ball very well all year.  The Bills, in Aaron Kromer OL fashion, have gotten better and better at it.   James Cook is the most talented back in this game, but we refuse to let him take the role fully from Singletary so it is what it is.

Agree to disagree.  Until Allen gets a Super Bowl, you have a point based on history.   As far as Burrow goes.. he may light us up.. it still won’t change my mind.  He has the best weapons in the game, doesn’t have the mobility of Allen or Mahomes and he hasn’t performed at an elite level in the Playoffs yet.

I’d guess white on white but have t seen anything yet. Probably tomorrow.

It would probably be white jersey with blue pants if the Bengals are wearing white pants.

Buffalo averages more rushing yards per game by alot. Even when you remove QB rushing yards Buffalo still out gains them 92.9 to 81.6 yards per game.

On top of that, a sizable chunk of Mixon's rushing stats came in 1 game. His game against Carolina accounts for 20%(153 yards) of his rushing yards, 2/3(4 of 6) of his rushing tds, more than 1/6(211 yards) of his total yards & 5 of his 8 total tds on the year. Outside of that 1 game he hasn't really done much.

The Bengals are just really really solid. They have big play ability on both sides. They can drain the clock with a methodical drive. They have a good kicker. Burrow can run a little bit. Mixon has been a little down but they have depth. They're good.

Burrow can definitely turn it over and if you get pressure on them, they are a very different team (who isn't?)

This is a huge game. Lose here and you likely have to go to Cincy and KC to get to the Super Bowl

Get pressure on Burrow especially up the middle. Oliver is going to be huge here

Get Diggs involved early. Not just because he's a stud but the Bengals can be beaten on the deep ball. Take attention away from Gabe. This could be a 9/110/1 statline from Diggs and a 2/75/1 line from Gabe

The Bengals are good against the run but can give up catches to RBs. Don't be afraid to check in down.

Knox is ascending lately. That's huge for the offense.

Burrow, Chase, Higgins are gonna have their moments. They're studs. But the Bills have strengths to exploit the Bengals weaknesses

I'm kind of amazed at some of the national media I'm hearing. I'm hearing a lot of Bengals predictions. Pretty much every soundbite I hear as to why the Bills won't make the super Bowl applies to them: they've won ugly the past few weeks. They've beat up on bad teams with the NFC South looking like a dumpster fire.

Am I missing something? Because I get that Burrow throws a pretty ball and Jamar Chase is hell on wheels. Is there some facet of their team we haven't seen. I know their receivers are good but I don't know if they are better than Hill, Waddle and Gisecki. Burrow is great but he's not as mobile as Mahommes and can be sacked. Their D is ok to good but the Ravens, Jets and Patriots is better.

What am I not getting?

What am I not getting?

The national media keeps trying to say the Bills are not playing well.  Yet we are 12-3.  Have won multiple one score games this year.

Had a ton of injuries to starters on O-Line and Defense overall.

Played in some really ***** weather in multiple games.

Played 3 away games in 12 days.

All I keep hearing is that Josh is struggling, offense has no weapon outside of Allen/Diggs.

Yet - I dont hear that about Burrow, Herbert, or Mahomes who are all relatively around the same statistics wise as Allen.

The media is now just trying to jump off the Bills wagon because they aren't steam rolling teams.

Actually, he says the same stuff repeatedly until it is proven wrong...at which point he picks a new hot take to pound until that too is proven wrong.

So let me get this straight.........you did this exact thing for a decade+ here on TSW during the drought and now you are being critical of your own technique?

There’s a quick fix to this… don’t watch or listen to national media

I’m betting White on Blue…. Cincy is Black on White….

Maybe, though it’s not the traditional road uni. Lots of teams wear white pants so not sure if that’s an influence. The Bills have seemed enamored with blue pants this year , but I don’t think they’ve worn them with white jerseys very often in the Allen era. Maybe less than 10 times for that combo? Anyway, we’ll find out soon.

Are we doing AFL throwbacks? I know it’s strange to do it on the road but we are running out of time here

I don’t think the Bills are wearing those this season. Thought I heard Sal C mention something about that. Too bad because I love those AFL throwbacks. My fave Bills uni of all.
