CorkScrewHill
I have high hopes for the future .. but it is really hitting me that we had it within reach. The closest I ever felt, before the last Bills TD in this game, to wow we have a great shot to win the Super Bowl was after the 51-3 dismantling of the Raiders in 1990. I keep thinking I want to watch the game again, but then it will only make me second guess every little thing. Truly expect great things in the years to come .. hopefully that starts with not giving away home field advantage next year.

Success
I was pretty sure I was going to skip this weekend, but as it gets closer, I think I'll probably watch. They should be great games, and I love football. Honestly, though, I don't think I'll ever be able to watch even a single highlight from the KC game. Which is a shame, because it's obviously a classic. But that game is nothing but pain for me now. It's like revisiting a nightmare. Haven't felt that way in a long, long time. 3
Nextmanup
I have the KC game on the DVR, but I suspect I will not watch the game again. Believe it or not, I never watched any of the 4 Super Bowls a second time either. I will definitely be watching playoff football this weekend, and the SB---at least as long as the games are close. The moment one turns into a blowout, I'll be doing other things.
Greg S
I will watch as their are only 3 games left and its a long offseason. The new USFL doesn't count for me only the NFL and CFB count. IMHO.

I thought I wouldn't watch any replays or highlights from that game, but I've seen them popping up on Twitter and online, and the offensive scoring plays are really works of art. I held back my emotions for the entire KC game until that TD catch by Gabe at the end...I truly felt they had won it with that and I let out a scream so loud I almost passed out. Seeing it again wasn't as painful as I thought it would be.
Boatdrinks
Me too. Don’t think I can watch it. I’ll watch the NFC for the final pigskin fix of the season. This such an opportunity lost and I can’t think of a previous Bills playoff loss that made me feel like this. Can’t stomach watching the AFC.
Joe Ferguson
I think I'm scarred for life. The images of "13 ***** seconds" is all I I'm going to see every time I see a football game.
stevestojan
I’ve been judged for my Bills pessimism by family, friends, random strangers, etc. But I feel like it’s somehow protected me from the gut wrenching reactions like this. Now, I pout for 24 hours then move on. I definitely got this Bills attitude from my dad. The last text he sent me during the game was “13 seconds and three timeouts. Not over yet.” So, since the NFL season seems so fast and the off-season blows, I’ll definitely be watching the games this weekend. Rooting for the Bungles, because why not. Success
To be fair, the "Perfect Game" was the heights for me. I've told a lot of people that it was the single best sports-viewing experience I've had in my life. I don't care if people think that's sad or whatever, but I don't think many other fanbases know what it's like to be on the wrong side of a rivalry (using that word loosely) for 20 years, like we had w/ the Pats. That was Josh Allen as Lancelot, slaying the dragon that has tormented our village for a generation. I've never watched a football game that was just 60 minutes of pure exhiliration like that, and 100% catharsis. I was flying for days. Talk about a postseason of the ultimate high and the ultimate low, all in a couple of weeks. That's sports. 1
H2o
I'll watch just because I know there are only 3 games left until August. The only hope I have is that KC loses in one of those.

I can relate to your dad's text. I watched the game with family and didn't say it out loud but before the Bass kick off I thought to myself "how are they going to blow this one"? A lifetime of inconceivable last minute losses will do that to you. Hell, the week before I was nervous about only having a 23 point lead going into the 4th quarter. I don't think I can take another one of these. I'll need grief counseling or some kind of anxiety treatments. They need to win it all next year. That's just all there is to it. Johnny Hammersticks
It’s going to be great football. I’m looking forward to both games. Not the same as if the Bills were playing, but it’s still playoff football. Actually, my son has a 2:00 hockey game about 45 minutes away, so we’ll be hustling home so we can relax and enjoy some good football. Cincinnati vs San Fran in the SB 🤞💪

harryS
It helps if gambling is a hobby. I'm going to have to check in to see how my KC -7 bet is doing, and if KC blows them out as expected, I believe the wrong team will be favored in the Super Bowl (or at the very least it should be pick'em), setting up another great bet there. I'll probably watch the start of the game to see if Cincy can pull an upset. Everyone has put KC in the Super Bowl already so they'll be feeling disrespected and will come out super aggressive and fired up, especially on defense. Burrow can put points up against their defense as he's already shown but he needs a clean game and the O-line needs to somehow try and keep him on his feet. Hopefully they've designed some quick passes to Chase hoping he can do his trick of taking it to the house

billsfan1959
I rarely watch a playoff game once the BIlls have been eliminated and I won't this year either. It isn't because I am hanging on to any emotions from Sunday's game. I simply don't care and I would rather do something more productive with my time. For me, this year is over and I am already looking forward to free agency, the draft, and next season. Go Bills!

Paup 1995MVP
Its been a tough week for us all. The sadness, disappointment and bitterness is all very palpable. My brothers who live on the West Coast and I had a conference call yesterday about some business matters for our elderly father who has dementia. Well we started discussing the game, and within minutes it deteriorated to where we were all pissed and miserable again. I am just trying not to think about it. And am just looking forward to building a stronger team (especially on defense) for 2022 and believing that we will be Super Bowl champions soon enuf w Josh Allen at the helm. As for Sunday's Championship games. The NFC should be a dandy. And I will watch the AFC if for no other reason then I will have a bet on the game. And I love football. And would never miss a Championship game. But the pain inside will still be there. And that won't go away for awhile. I can't wait for NASCAR to start next Sunday. It will take my mind away from what might have been.
