Whoever does the morning show on Weei said the same thing

If not for the totally weather related issues in the first game, Josh would have had three consecutive great games against the Pats***. Ted Johnson should be concerned whether or not Mac Jones can put together a single good game against the Bills.

I enjoyed that discussion between Josh and McD before the half. You could see him pleading “I promise you we’ll get the TD!”   McD wasn’t having it. 🤣

When we only had a 3 point lead on the Jets late in the game, I was thinking how nice it would have been to have a 6 point lead. Going for FG's is the correct call sometimes.

I actually hoped that the Bills would play New England again as I think we have a distinct advantage at QB. But then I heard something unexpected on WGR today that I didn't realize... This is a serious question... How is it possible that New England is the 6th highest scoring offense, ahead of teams like the Bengals, Rams, Colts, and Packers?  I guess putting 45 on the Browns, 50 on the Jags, and 36 on the Titans helps the average but it's still a very unexpected stat to me with a rookie QB with a weak arm.

Cowboys 530
Bucs 511
Bills 483
Chiefs 480
Chargers 474
Patriots 462
Bengals 460
Rams 460
Colts 451
Packers 450

The Patriots 6th highest scoring offense with the 2nd lowest scoring defense

Vs

The Bills 3rd highest scoring offense and #1 defense.

If you remember this is the guy who publicly called Vince Wilfork's wife an ugly troll and cowered like a little b!+€# when Wilfork found out and said he was gonna eff him up. The guy's a clueless classless scumbag. Giving him any credibility for his opinions is beyond ignorant. Read for yourself. If you can't back up your words then stfu.

Oh look, the point spread has actually moved DOWN to 4 across the board now, including a 3.5 at sharp shop Heritage.  So, looks like all the Bills fans in this thread were wrong about what direction the line would move.

I mean, who cares?  We should just stick to talking about football, but IF people are going to chime in about point spreads and market movement, please know what you're talking about when you do.  Thanks!

And to be clear, I think our Bills win comfortably and I will have a bet on Bills -3.5, but that is irrelevant to how the point spread will move in this game.

They also put up 50 on the jets.

They put up some ridiculous numbers vs the worst of the worst teams.

PSA: Your phone will die much quicker in the cold like this - like 50-75% quicker. Bring an external charger to your tailgates and don't leave your phone in your chair to freeze. You don't want to be the person whose phone dies in line at the gate.

Tough not to have anxiety about this game. Losing to the Pats would be much worse than to anyone else and have an extra serving of bitter sauce.

I was dreading this matchup just for that.

Still, I can't get over the feeling I had watching the Pats last game vs Bills, that they are not that good, and we have the edge in nearly every area. We need not fear this team....or anyone else. We are a damn good team, and getting even better. Our defense is sick, and this punk Florida rookie is not going to come into Buffalo in January and beat us.

Ultimately, tough luck for us or the Pats; we've got to be able to beat anyone and fear no one.

I agree w/ a lot of this.  But I'm seeing "off days" and Allen combined a lot lately, and it begs the question:  what QB doesn't have 'em?

Even on Josh's bad days, he's still pretty great, imo. That's why his running is so awesome. The last 2 weeks, he hasn't been throwing quite as well, but he has made up for it w/ his legs.

On JA off days….how did the other QB do?

In bad weather you take every point you can get. Figure the weather is neutralizing both teams. Saturday will be cold but it looks like substantially less wind. It's the wind that bothers Josh.

Eagle is great but Davis ...wooof he's a Homer for Pats.

I could be wrong about this, but I think when Davis was on Fox, he was a play by play guy for a few games here or there (maybe subbing). I always thought he was good in the role (has a nice voice). But as a color commentator, he is not very insightful, and I find him to be slanted.

Coming into town for the game with my 12 year old son and my almost 70 year old mom. I am thinking about parking at ECC. If we get to the stadium by 6:00 should there still be space in the ECC parking lots or should we plan to get there earlier?

Always space at ECC, especially if you head to the left. It's a farther walk, and less "fun," but easy get-out if you sneak out onto Big Tree.

Good to go? Dude was carted off the field. I’d say there’s very little chance he plays this week

Right no serious structural damage but likely still a very sore knee

No chance the pats lost that game on purpose and had their starters go for 60 minutes…not sure if that’s what this guy is implying.

Absolutely.  The guy can flat out run.  We aren’t even talking about running for an occasional first down.. Allen can run like Steve Young!  It’s to the point that we EXPECT around 50 or more rushing yards per game from him to compliment a pair of TD passes.  If he can continue this into the playoffs then the Bills will be quite dangerous.

I am worried about this game. For one, the Hoodie.

I realize we should have slammed the door shut last game. But also in last game, it required Josh and McKenzie making incredible play after incredible play to sustain drives. I hope josh has it in him again. I’d hate to lose to the pats led by Mac Jones who is a very Tua-esque kinda QB with better coaches

The oline has to step up and get the run game going to help, because your right Allen can’t keep doing it all. And our defense has to SLOW down the run

It sounded like the expected talking point that Belichick is too smart to lose again against our sad one trick pony team (as some in the media like to describe  us)

It does make sense for the Pats to want that they would have to go to cinci right?

The pats probably are praying for the worst weather possible in hopes they can hang in the game and win by 1

But it's definitely not gonna happen, as confirmed by multiple sources, so why waste your breath?

It would be like me talking all the time about how Scarlett Johannson needs to take my phone calls. I mean, she DOES, but it ain't gonna happen, so lets move on.

If we get a dome I will get Scarlett to take your phone call.
