Collinsworth was almost impossible to listen to.

Don't forget the constant ball-washing he was giving Steve Spagnuolo about being a defensive genius.

He talked and talked about "Spags" a lot, but didn't mention that his defense is in last place.

But of course, he kept on yammering about KC's defense instead of saying a word about Daboll and his offense.

If was shockingly one-sided.

How about giving some credit to Leslie.

The way he went on and on and on about how Spagger McSpagface loves to blitz on 3rd and long… change the sodding record.  It was like being trapped in conversation with an old lady who just repeats the same sentence over and over with the words in a slightly different order each time.

Down 38-20, Chiefs make a 1 yard run on first down, Chris Collinsworth: "The Chiefs are roaring back into the game"

I usually don't b**** and moan about the commentary, but good Lord was that painful to listen to. I had to question myself a few times if I am watching the same game as Chris Collinsworth.

But the Gold Medal for Collingsworth ignorance goes to his commentary on Frank Clark's roughing penalty on Allen.  Collingsworth said that in the morning everyone will be talking about that call and how it changed the game.  If you want to start arguing bad penalties in this game I'm down for that.  That roughing penalty against Clark was a hell of a lot more roughing than Oliver's roughing penalty against Mahomes.  It also was a bigger penalty than the BS holding penalty called on Morse on the play right before Clark's roughing call.  That phantom hold brought back a Josh Allen scramble for a 1st down.

Collingsworth made it sound like that roughing penalty was somehow the turning point in the entire game.  Never mind the Bills defense and special teams coming up with a +4 turnover differential, or a Mahomes Pick Six, or the Bills winning by THREE scores in Arrowhead.  It was all that bogus roughing the passer penalty in the fourth quarter of the game.  That's why the Bills won.  What a bunch of crap.

Agree - he didn't say another word about Oliver's very questionable roughing call - complete double standard.

I usually can deal with any announcers but I muted and listened to the national radio broadcast

We muted and just watched .  Didn’t miss a thing without him.

What an absolutely terrible crew calling a marquee game.  I wish the NFL would step in and get them off the air, but it is NBCs embarrassment.

I muted and watched it on the Telemundo Deportes app. It was awesome. Even if you didn't understand Spanish, you could follow what they were saying. And not just no Cris Collingsworth, no Michelle Tafoya either!

I just honestly don't get why guys like this just despise Allen and the Bills.

Well, they are paid to hate on the Bills. Come on... Did you exist in the 90's? X-files even hated on us... You don't need to believe me; here is proof:

I know... I'm old... But it's part of our "cultural heritage" to hate on the Bills.

Also, that kinda BS makes me love us, even more!

Ive never liked Collinsworth calling games. Doesn't matter what game it is, it's always brutal. I do enjoy al Michaels though. Wish they'd find him a new partner

They even doubled down and hired douche junior for pre-game stuff.  Only 45 more years of this.

Collinsworth came up with a narrative before the game started, and then tried to fit his call of the game to that narrative.

He obviously saw the Chiefs as some kind of sleeping giant who was going to flip some switch to take down the overmatched Bills.

Mahomes and Reid weren't a couple of guys who can't figure out the Tampa 2 defense, they were unstoppable geniuses who only needed a couple of plays to figure out this pesky defense.  He even chided the Bills for not blitzing.

Defensively you would have thought that the Chiefs were thr 85 Bears instead of one of the worst units in the League this year.

Collinsworth pulled his script from last year, completely missing the fact that the Bills were playing better football than KC this year.  They even played that stupid graphic claiming the Bills haven't beaten any good QBs this year, missing the fact that the Bills didn't just beat those QBs, they annihilated them.

Collinsworth approach was bad because it was formulaic, tired, and lazy.  You wonder if he actually has followed what has been going on in the league this season.
