Having gone through terrible years of marriage, separation and divorce, I can tell you that nothing in marriage or divorce is ever that simple. That being said, moving on from that relationship was the best thing for my ex-wife, our kids and myself. If you really think what you posted to be the true sole reason for the separation/divorce, well, as people say in the region in which you live, well bless your heart....

Im sure there’s more to it.

My response is to those who constantly make that point to allude to Tom Brady being selfish and/or the responsible party for the divorce.

Dude was thisclose to getting exactly what he wanted...........an ownership stake in an NFL team.......which would have also served as a great rationale to his wife to keep playing.   He finally got a real 12-6 curveball thrown at him for the first time in his NFL career.    The kind of adversity he had to deal with in the past was only fuel to help him succeed.

It could be about trust though - if Brady vowed to Giselle that 2021 would be his final year, then went back on his word, it may be hard for her to believe whatever he says moving forwards.

Uh huh... Sure.

Nope, I've rode this rollercoaster before, although the ghoul is drawing us in a bit deeper this time.

I 100% expect him to be in the super bowl, where "a great ending to a great story" is just a few well timed defensive penalties away.

People saying they want Brady in the super bowl against the Bills are insane.

Wait a minute.  Are there posters who are seriously believing Tom Brady's decent on the football field is because of his wife.

LOL, that's the reason you're buying into.

It seems to me he is doing exactly what he wants to do (which is what he has always done).

If he is failing, it's because HE is failing.

Yeah, I agree with that. Lots of pressure to have the perfect ending for Brady if they made the Super Bowl. However, now that he’s splitting with the wife, he doesn’t have to retire to make her happy. Didn’t he say once that he wanted to play until he was 50?

People still fall for this?

It's the story arc... Time vs Time... Our loveable, totally genuine awe shucks hero is down and out for sure this time... Looks like father time is finally going to win.

And somewhere Matt Ryan is super bowl MVP! Lol

It's almost time for Tommy's greatest comeback ever. This crap writes itself.

It's like watching a horror film. The villain is never done.

I've been through a separation.  It wasn't even acrimonious but easily was the worst year of my life.  There's not a chance that all of his mind is on football and if the Bucs end up swan-diving in the standings it wouldn't shock me if he retires midseason.

he cares way to much about his legacy to do that.

Just saw him in an interview on the local news and it looks like he aged 5 years or more in one off season. His face is very thin/gaunt.

do we really need a thread for this ?
F him !!

I never liked Brady, but I used to respect him until he started with the TB12 and hydration nonsense. He left out all the HGH flowing through his body.  It is amazing how many people really believe a 45 year old is playing in the NFL because he eats healthy and hydrates.  🤣

My guess is Brady is in the majority of players though.  HGH is almost required to play in the NFL today.
