JerseyBills
I'm curious what folks on here think about Browns fans basically giving up their loyalty and fandom to the Browns because of the Watson signing. It has been all over Reddit for weeks , with die hard Browns fans claiming they're done with their team and many looking to join Bills Mafia. So with yet another woman coming through claiming Watson was in a Yoga pose and when the masseuse refused to massage the area between his balls and anus , grabbed her wrist and forced her. So now even more Browns fans are coming forward and denouncing their Browns fandom. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/07/sports/football/deshaun-watson.html Long story short, what would you do if our very own Buffalo Bills signed this sicko ? I personally don't know if I could do it. I was a fan since 8 years old and idk if I could throw away investing 2 decades of loving this team. Just curious how others feel, because of all the Browns fans who want nothing to do with them. Especially with a 1st pick , pretty good QB in Baker still on the roster. P.S- Obviously McBeane would never make this move. Even without Josh. I'm just wondering if we had whatever GM or HC and they signed Watson to 100s of millions, would you abandon the Bills like many Brown fans are apparently doing? Success
I've accepted a lot of bad behavior from players on my various teams, but this would be too much for me. I wouldn't walk away permanently - but I wouldn't pull for them as long as he was on the team. 10
BillsPride12
All I know is if he came to Buffalo there's no way that f***ing guy would've been able to stay away from Lundy's Lane There's been many guys who drank and drugged themselves outta the league over the years...but this might have been the first case in NFL history where a guy rub n tugged himself outta the league 🤷♂️ 1
Buffalo_Stampede
Honestly, probably defended him for a while but then turn on the team for being stupid. Edited June 8, 2022 by Buffalo_Stampede
Patrick Duffy
Hate it. Not only due to the obvious, also paying lots of money while not knowing if/when he can even play. Leave a sour taste in ya mouth for sure

letsgoteam
I would still be a fan but have zero faith with the coaches & management. I would be vocal in my displeasure about it and probably not wear as much Bills gear to avoid convos about the hypothetical situation. 2

I believe Beane is a man with a moral compass, I suspect he would quit his job if he was being pressured to make that hire, jmo. As for me, I would likely have nothing to do with the team at minimum until he was gone, along with those who would hire a scum bag like Watson. No chance McBeane would sign off on this. Just saying, if it happened in an alternative universe, would you still support the team? I'm surprised at all the Browns fans, who have a solid and loyal base, that are allegedly done with their team. BuffaloRebound
I’m sure I’d be in denial for awhile that Watson is guilty and circle the wagons a bit. But at some point I’d like to think I’d come to my senses and demand the Bills cut bait with this pervert.

Buffalo_Stampede
I posted in another thread that the Bills were the front runner to sign Michael Vick immediately after being released from prison. The NFL stepped in. I remember many fans wanted Vick, many didn’t. When you’re desperate for a QB things change. I’m so glad the Bills didn’t need a QB when Watson was available. It would’ve been a huge debate here. I think most would’ve wanted to trade for him. Edited June 8, 2022 by Buffalo_Stampede

wppete
It saddens me to think this but I would stop watching the Bills until he is gone and cheer for the Bengals and Burrow. What a dirtbag Deshaun is! Doc Brown
This comes across as pious but I'd temporarily suspend my fan hood because a Super Bowl victory would feel empty with management selling their sole for Watson. There's just too many accusations (and they're all disgusting) for me to think this is some grand conspiracy money grab against him. There's no way in hell I'd become a diehard fan of another team though.

HappyDays
This is gross to think about. The Bills are my life long passion and it would devastate me to give them up but I would have to. I would probably adopt another team until everyone connected with that decision was gone, most likely the Browns or Bengals. But I would never feel the true passion for them that I do for the Bills so those years would feel kind of empty. I sympathize with Browns fans that have stood with the team through so much misery and end up in this nightmare. The Bils drought years were frustrating but at least I could root for the team. Nothing compares to this. Blech.

Brand J
Say we were coming off all those years of QB hell; Cleveland took Allen and we drafted Darnold who turned out to be another bust. I could never stop rooting for the Bills and that logo, but I’d be pissed at the amount of draft capital we gave up for Watson and I wouldn’t wear Bills clothing around LA so proudly. Not because of any personal feelings I had towards Watson, but because I wouldn’t want to hear the blowback from all the other fans. I root for the team first and foremost, players second. I’d be supportive, but not happy. I would also have zero expectations that the team was on a real path to success. EDIT: Oh and bypassing Mahomes for Tre White would continue to loom over this franchise like a dark cloud. Gugny
When it was announced that Alex Rodriguez was trying to buy the Mets, I told everyone I know that if that had happened, I was going to be a Red Sox fan until he was no longer in the mix ... and man, I meant it. If the Bills ever signed a sexual predator scumbag like Watson, I probably would have gone to the Giants, since they're closest to me, geographically and I could never root for the Jets. No way I'd support any team that signed that piece of crap.
Ray Stonada
If the Bills signed Watson knowing what the Browns knew, I’d gain thousands of hours of free time every year! I’ve been thinking how lucky Buffalo is to have sane and upstanding ownership. I’m thankful! Both Houston and Cleveland seem to have slime for owners and it shows. I’ve been spending time for work in Cleveland and found it a really cool place, with great food and stuff to do. This whole thing sucks for everyone there. The city’s national reputation is suffering from this due to one moronic family.
StHustle
I knew Watson was definitely guilty when he made the claim he never disrespected a woman in his life. That sort of claim would only come from a liar and when lying at a time you are defending yourself about lies is a very good sign all of it is denials of the truth. No man his age can legitimately say they never disrespected any female in their lives. Yes, this statement came AFTER they signed him but for that to be a statement made during the introductory press conference, I likely would have been watching already on the fence, and that woulda sealed the deal for me. Im with the folks saying they’d abandon the team until he was gone.
