I think he will be a great weapon if they use him.

That said, a 1st and a 4th for a TE when you just signed your underutilized mediocre te to a huge contract?

This makes that ridiculous contract they gave Knox look even worse.

I expect more help for the OLine, making them more dangerous.

Kincaid is going to be a beast to cover.  I don't think this is a knock on Knox either.  VERY different roles I think.

Kincaid will move around a lot more, kick out to the slot etc.  You have to account for him.

Knox is the prototypical TE, and let's not forget, had 6 TDs this past season.  I like the taller/physical options in the red zone.

This is not a first rounder,  average speed 4.7 forty.  Small school and we gave up a 4th rounder with much better players available,  Beane has this team backwards and they will be fighting for wildcard. I see no overall improvement and this pick excites as much as the Cody Ford pick

Utah is a small school?

The Niagra region has clearly dulled your mind.

Holy crap get off the downers.  He was consensus BPA and our 2 TE sets are going to be amazing.

And Kincaid doesn't have the drops

Pros:

quite lateral pivot

Good upright slot stance and kick

high points the ball well and will attack it

runs VERY good Kelce style curl option routes

cons:

Blocking is poor

not incredibly thick to handle rushers

can he develop better mid route ability?

Yeah and WHO THE F CARES. Two weapons for your Elite QB. Learn the game

I understand the game.

Josh Allen historically likes throwing to WRS and prefers 11 personnel over 12.

We underused our 14 mil tight end and now we traded up to get a tight end who’s great at pass catching, but can’t block well.

Anything I miss there bud?

I actually believe him this time. Great pick. I was bummed when Zay went off the board but to get the best pass catching TE in the draft and a guy with Kelce type upside is huge for Josh. Hoping Dorsey can scheme it up because this kid is pretty special

I'm happy. Another weapon for Josh

Yes I am happy with the pick because the Buffalo Bills offense has to carry this team with Josh Allen. Because I have no faith in the Bills defense with the loss of Tremaine Edmunds under Sean McDermott. I think the Bills defense is going to really struggle in 2023 and the Bills offense has to carry the Bills team in 2023 in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Because Josh likes throwing to WRs and we don’t even use our 14 million dollar tight end enough

Kinkaid basically is a WR. Part of the reason we don't "use" Knox is because he isn't exactly our best option when split off the line. Also, we might find the offense gets tweeked to run more double TE sets which would help solve some of our OL protection issues just by virtue of more bodies being in there.

Either way, having more big guys who get open and catch everything isn't usually a bad thing.
