Dying at all the posters who read Michael Mayer is Gronk 2.0 and fell in love simply off of that and parrot the comparison to say we chose the wrong TE.

Dalton Kincaid was the top TE in the class.

Agreed.  Kincaid is completely different player than Mayer. Twice as quick.

Love the pick.  They’ve wanted a 2 TE look for a while.  Put him and Knox out there with Diggs and Davis and look out.

People b-wording... we took the best TE in a stacked TE draft. Best offensive player left after that WR run, wasn't defense andddddd Dhop is even still available.

If we don't know how to use him, we have bigger problems than personnel

Kincaid is more Kelce. Smooth route runner. I don’t think many thought he’d be there.

Im not angry because they drafted a route running technician. That’s all I wanted.

Ummm yes?… it’s not baseball with no salary cap so yes It would hurt the roster building… you can keep pushing The cap down the road by extensions/restructures, but got to pay the piper eventually.

So just ignore  the fact that Josh likes throwing to WRs and we traded up for TE when we underuse our starting TE?

We traded up for a TE so, 32.5 catches for Kincaid this year. Over/under?

They were trying to roll with two titan sets last off-season and didn’t have the groceries. The one that they brought in was not good enough, but they were still messing with it.

What you did was a position in the draft that is supposed to be strong in this draft

Nobody had Dalton Kincaid going that late

F the cowboys.

I think the Bills ruined the Cowboys night and jumped their pick. That makes me VERY Happy.

Plus I love thinking of how Dorsey will gameplan mismatches using both he and Dawson Knox.

I like the pick.  Knox simply has not been a reliable pass catcher and Kincaid seems much better at that.

I was never a fan of the Knox contract, and this feels like Beane would want it back if he had the chance as well.

knox is paid like a modest pass catcher - it’s not a game breaking deal.

Barring any player for pick happening over night,  we have effectively two more picks to get starters in this draft. If we grab a OL and LB un rd 2 and 3, I would call this a successful draft.

Depending on the Bills' grades of the remaining players,  I wouldn't be surprised if a player is traded before draft time tomorrow

Except it doesn’t. Those that cannot evaluate the game or players turn to cap talk.  Do you.

You haven’t made one intelligent rebuttal.

I know the game. I know how the cap works and I even explained how it works.

If you like the pick? cool. We will Agree to disagree.

But Maybe you should learn our elite QB and what personnel he prefers and the position group he targets the most?🤷‍♂️

Bills fans are the worst. The boards for the other teams int he division don't like the idea of Kincaid on the Bills.

on NFL network they said something along the lines of the rest of the leagues should be ashamed that they let JA get Dalton Kincaid

Daboll got the same production from our receiving RB and TE as Dorsey did.

Plenty of criticism for Dorsey. This isn’t one of them though.

I'd argue that it's more on Josh ignoring Knox at times. There was a lot of times last season where Knox was wide open with Josh looking his way and for whatever reason Josh didn't pull the trigger.

OK brass tacks time people:

At this point, I don't care if Kincaid can block or not. Know is ok at that. Ideally we bolster the line in the draft. What we needed as a first round splash is something, anything, that reliably prevents teams from bracket covering Diggs every game. I don't care if we play him in the slot every snap, I want enough over the middle catches that it finally sinks home that you can't do that to Diggs anymore.

Are they fixing their drops in the gym?  Or Davis learning routes yet?

Kincaid won't be replacing these guys.  He'll be replacing Crowder and McKenzie (and a quarter of a season of Beasley).

The Bills mid level passing game was terrible last season. Kincaid helps fix this.

Listening to Beane's presser...Kincaid was the only player on their board left in the first round.  They knew Dallas wanted him and had they not been able to jump Dallas, they would have traded back.  Kincaid is a player they don't currently have on their offense.  He will create matchup nightmares and can dictate coverage.  They didn't draft him to be a blocking TE.  This is a great pick!

They basically said Josh just got his Travis Kelce.

If Davis can regain form (and he looked better in the playoffs overall than he did in the regular season) - it is going to be extremely difficult for any defense to cover everyone.  And they have to worry about Damien Harris now, too.

We're going to score a ton of points.  We have been, but now we'll score more.

Plus, with more OL help,  Knox will be more available as a pass catcher

but I’ll keep stressing that Knox is paid like Zay Jones, not like a big time pass catcher. The number feels big but it’s tweener dollars for tweener play. Good not great in the passing game. Solid but not crushing blocker. and paid like an ok blocker or catcher

Only way this pick makes sense is if they trade Knox. They are exactly the same player.

Absolutely not true. Bills will put him on field as big slot with and without Knox .. like Knox but Kincaid is a top 10 player in this draft and better than any wr .. he’s different and they will work well together.. see KC
