DrDawkinstein
The release isnt much news as everyone knew it was coming. The news will be where he lands. I still think Seattle is an option (and likely the best fit for both sides), even with the success they've had with Geno. It does sound like Saints are most likely tho. Carolina makes a decent amount of sense, but I have to think Reich is done with the retreads after Rivers (who was actually good but one and done), Wentz, and Ryan. Gregg
As long as the Jets don't get him then I don't care where he goes. He would be an upgrade over White, Wilson, Flacco. 2
ngbills
I think he needs a year off as a back up like Tribusky. Year in BUF with only snaps in pre-season and blowouts and he can sign a big deal the following year. 2 1

KDIGGZ
He's a top 10-15 QB. Those guys usually don't just get released. I think he's unfairly criticized. He's as good as Matt Stafford who instantly made the Rams good. I think on a good team he can do enough to get a team over the hump. I think 49ers would be foolish not to go for Brady, Rodgers, Carr. All 3 of those guys grew up fans of the team and would probably play for them for free for a chance to win their team a super bowl

Stafford has always been a great QB in a dysfunctional organization. There's an entire tier of difference between Stafford and Carr. Stafford was always a QB capable of winning a championship with a little help. Carr isn't that guy. If you want to win a championship with him, you better come with the '00 Ravens or '02 Bucs. He routinely falls apart when the lights get brightest and you put the game on his shoulders. He has lower highs and lower lows than Stafford. Not a bad player at all, but if you're hoping to win it all with him everything else has to be perfect. The only team I can think of that fits that mold is San Francisco, and depending on how the offseason goes, maybe the Jets. Carr could be a very good QB for another 7-8 years. I think he's better than people give him credit for. We'll see. If he goes to a contender they can make some noise. If he goes to Carolina or New Orleans then we will probably never hear from him again
