Everytime he references the Eagles it starts with "we this" and "we that". We? Thinking with ❤ not 👀
Rc2catch
Don’t flame me too bad but Phillys roster is just as talented if not more than buffalo. Their O line is amazing when Lane Johnson and Kelce are healthy. 3 shifty quick running backs. Solid duo of receivers and goeddert at tight end. And they do have the best corner tandem in the league. Slay has to be cb1 in the league so far. They would be the one team I would not want to face right now. Allen and Buffalo can definitely beat them, hurts still has question marks and I’m not a fan of that coach or their playcalling. Reminds me of McDermott’s first couple years when he didn’t trust the offense to execute anything consistently and coached really conservative. I think Buffalo finishes better than them but I’m just basing that off health. I don’t see anyway Philly stays healthy enough to win 13+ games. If pieces start dropping hurts probably isn’t carrying them the way Allen can. Edited October 18, 2022 by Rc2catch 1

billsbackto81
Eagles beat the Lions (1-4) by 3 points. Eagles beat the Vikings (5-1). Solid win against strongest opponent IMO thus far. Eagles beat the Commanders (2-4) Eagles beat the Jags (2-4) by 8 points. Eagles beat the Cards (2-4) by 3 points. Eagles beat Cowboys (4-2) with a back up QB. Outside of being undefeated I don't see how you'd consider the Eagles the better team. 12 8 2

ChronicAndKnuckles
Eagles have benefited greatly from an easy schedule. I don't even think they are in the top 4. The toughest team they've played is the Vikings. I think Buffalo would win convincingly. They are a well-rounded team, I'll give them that and I am very impressed with the progress of Hurts, but have they really faced a true offensive juggernaut yet? I don't think they have the fire-power to win in a real shoot out with someone like the Bills or Chiefs.
Comebackkid
we do have to have a redemption game. wasnt it last year they gave us the worst loss of the season? that stretch of them and the titans. we need to avenge that and set the record straight. so happy to see how improved our run D is this year.

The only area of the field I give them a head to head advantage is their Dline v our Oline. Their big advantage against most teams is their roadgrading oline taking over games and against the 2020 Bills that would concern you.... but nobody has pushed our Dline around this year even in games where we had PS guys taking a large share of snaps at DT. I don't think they could score with us. It'd be something like 30-17 Buffalo. 2

An Allen led team is going to blow A Hurts led team off the field 8 out of 10 games. The Bills defense will give the Eagles offense fits. 1

Buffalo Boy
Straight up a question of QB. Put JA on the Eagles, they become a juggernaut. You put Hurts on the Bills, they are less of a winner by two to four games over the course of a season. 1

hemma
I think our D, particularly with Tre back, would close them down. Where they have been very impressive is with turnovers. 14 takeaways with only 2 giveaways is a great way to pick up close games.
Ya Digg?
They’re probably kinda close talent wise, so give me the team with the better QB. The Eagles have done a really good job of jumping out to leads but then they just sit on their defense and running game. I don’t believe Hurts can bring that team back if they are down 14+ points and the team knows he has to throw

Their turnover margin (to date) helps explain their current record. Mahomes doubled his INTs on Sunday and I suspect Hurts would run into the same vs our D. Ethan in Cleveland
Not sure Eagles are even 3rd best team. I do agree they have a solid roster. I think my top 3 is Buffalo, KC, and then Minn. I'm still beating the table for the Chargers and think by the end of the year if they can get healthy will be a very tough team to beat. 16 minutes ago, Captain Hindsight said: It is not a sustainable way to win games tho. I thought Buffalo would be higher but did not realize they have 6 lost fumbles in 6 games. Bills need to clean that up. Second worst number in the league. May Day 10
I dont think any objective person would lay money down on the Eagles playing the Bills on a neutral field. Id say the Bills would also be favored in the Linc.
mjt328
The Eagles are a good team, with lots of talent on both sides of the ball. Before the season, I fully expected them to win the NFC East and be a sleeper Super Bowl contender (mostly due to a weak conference though). Jalen Hurts has also taken a big step this season. With that said, I don't think they have been challenged much in the first six weeks. Almost every season a surprise team comes out hot with an early winning streak, and fades-off as the season goes on. Back in 2008, we started 4-0 with Trent Edwards and people were talking about us finally getting our franchise QB. We ended the season 7-9 and missed the playoffs. DrDawkinstein
Bills are the #1 team right now. No doubt about it. The thing that worries me about the Eagles is they always play us hard, and their DLine always takes over the game. Fletcher Cox beat up our entire interior OL all by himself in 2019, and 2015. I know a lot has changed since those games, but not when it comes to our interior OL getting tougher. We'll see.

Bills are #1 DVOA overall, and on offense and defense. Last team to do that after 6 weeks were the 2003 TB Buccaneers. Eagles rank 5th on defense, 5th on offense and 2nd overall, 14.1% behind the Bills. There are good DTs all over the league. We played against a bunch of good ones in 2019 as well. More so than anyone else, the Eagles and Fletcher Cox, kicked our asses. It's a bad match up or something. He took over the games in 2015 and 2019. I'm not talking about other DTs. I'm talking specifically about a DT that plays us hard and has had our number.
