After watching Fitz and the Fins torch them today man I can’t help but of our three losses we've had wanting that one back the most as there’s no way they do that again to us

We played like crap

Any given Sunday.

The nfl is a week to week league.  Matchups,  game plans....and it’s not always who you play but when you play them.   Miami had the lead in buffalo in the fourth I believe.   The bills can beat the eagles and lose to the dolphins.

They did beat beat the Packers...

they  win win out the win the east division.

they made key plays

you get a turnover inside the opponents 25 and get a TD and you get a 60+ yd big play TD you  havegood odds of winning.

buffalo does allow those 2 plays they likely lead something like 13-3 14-3 16-3 or 17-3 in the 3rd quarter.  That’s a very different game.

on their other scoring drive buffalo had them at 2nd and 15+ or 3rd and 7+ and allowed thrm to convert and move the chains.

against NE they had the blocked punt TD and a shortened field FG giving New England 10 pts

against Cleveland they gave up a 2 min drill TD and missed 2 FGs.

they could have won any of those 3 loses

They ran all over us. Make them throw. Wentz is struggling enormously.

Wentz had a steller game overall against Dolphins,  310 yards and 3 TD's before the final play which was a hail mary pass.
Eagles didn't lose because of Wentz.

I don't think the Bills were prepared for the Eagles and the elements. I think, personally, we should've run the ball more that game. Gore was goring them. Defensively, we weren't prepared for their screen game. The Eagles had one receiving threat that game, Ertz. Eagles killed us with screens and missed tackles/sacks(Hughes)

I agree. The Bills hopefully have a different metrologist at this point!

I wasn't talking about their loss to the Dolphins so much as their struggles over the course of the season. Wentz has struggled as a passer and we didn't do enough to make him beat us because we allowed the running game to.

We lost because Dabollocks dialed up an 80/20 pass/run ratio (same reason we lost to the Browns).  And don't give me that game was out of hand crap, it was a two-score game until the Eagles drive in the 4th Qtr that took 9 mins.  Now that he's pounding the rock more, we're winning.

NFL is strange.. Browns killed the Ravens.  Weird stuff just happens

Yep.  Tampa has the worst pass defense and Jacksonville was hosting them and did little offensively with 2 different QBs.

Don't we win if we open up the passing game more and throw for 300 :-)

Bad games happen.  That's really our only "bad" game of the year.

That being said, we've been a solid team through the Cleveland game..  We've been a very good team since then..

That Cleveland loss, and how we lost it, may end up being a huge blessing in disguise given how our coaching staff learned from, reacted to and changed as a result.

Couldn't stop the run like the Browns game.

There are other games where teams ran on us successfully.

The common thread of the Browns and Eagles losses is that the Bills abandoned their running game.

The Eagles ran the ball 41 times. We ran it 12 times with our RB's. They won Time of Possession by almost 12 mins.

Against the Browns we only ran the ball with our RB's 14 times

We ran the ball 47 times against the Broncos (36 with our RB's) and 34 times against Dallas, 24 with the RB's...

We cannot abandon the running game!

Was windy. And that was one of the bad tackling bad run fit games.

100%.  The down field passing game was challenged even in the 10 to 20 zone where Josh has thrived this year.  He closed the game 0 for 10.  Eagles hurt the Bills with  screens, shallow crosses and QB 3rd down runs aside from their conventional run plays.  They had the better windy day offense.

The Eagles team we lost to had Jordan Howard at RB.

Not to mention the defense played like crap.  Missed tackles - they got gashed for 200+ on the ground... and like a 9 minute drive basically iced the game.
