  1. I prefer DJ over Aj 100%, especially if theyre planning another big move at WR
  2. He's solid zone beater according to this
  3. When you were the worst playoff defense by far this would move would feel like a game changer
  4. I'd only be excited if they traded for or got Jefferson/Pierce. Anything else I would be 'ehh', and deal with it but wouldn't be as hyped
  5. Yup, a lot of fans just love stats but hate the context
  6. It definitely helps a QB's confidence knowing you have the #1 defense behind you all season. Allen on the other hand, had the worst run defense in the back of his mind all season, knowing the lead could get given right back at any moment
  7. Then you watch the Seattle win and see how easy they make it for the offense. If the defense is even half as good as that, this offense that scores a ton wouldnt have to be under constant pressure all season
  8. You're reading what I wrote wrong. He did put them in position with the lead late in the 4th before the defense gave up a deep TD with 55 secs left, the defense is expected to close it out here period. Then in OT, despite the horrible play calling on that drive, he still put them into a winning spot before the Cooks catch that was clearly complete, didn't even get a review.
  9. So you're basically in the McD camp to reduce an elite Josh to a game manager, Darnold type role while he pairs up with a defense that gives up 30+ points way too easily... that's never going to work
  10. So are you saying if the bills had Seattle's defense and played the same way with the turnovers they'd still lose? I highly doubt that, I doubt Denver even scores close to 23
  11. The defense just wasn't able to seal it after taking a late 27-23 lead, which is usually enough in a playoff game. And you're acting like a defense that's given up 33 pts per game over the last 6 playoff games is suddenly going to lock down the rest of the AFC and take on a Seattle/Rams matchup.
  12. Yeah and the main problem though is the defense has just always been bad
  13. I think that "impossible to win with that many turnovers" stat applies to normal qbs. With almost anyone else thats a 38-13 blowout. With Josh, he still put them in position to take the lead late and win the game with a defensive close out
  14. That's why I wanted the bills to lose week 17, so they'd end up playing pats in WC and knocking them out early. Instead they lost 3 key guys in a meaningless game and stuck watching pats go deep...
  15. There's gotta be better non high maintenance wrs out there
