Over 29 years of fanhood
I’d love him in a Bills jersey. Now that’s a scenario where I’d call Zay not making the roster. JM57
Diggs will only turn 26 near the end of the season and locked in for like 4 more seasons. IF he were available I would absolutely be willing to pay the price

thenorthremembers
No thanks. He is an average wideout who has name recognition. If youre going to pay someone that amount of money go big and get a game changer. Otherwise wait until the offseason.
billsfan1959
They will be able to find at least one (probably more) good receiver(s) in the 2020 draft. It is a talented and deep class.

aristocrat
at the moment cousins isn't throwing much and they're winning running the ball well. they will need all the weapons they can get in that division so i dont see it happening. Kirby Jackson
This one is a bit tough for me. I’ve been saying that a #1 WR is right near the top of the list for biggest needs but am not sure Diggs is that guy. If you combine that with his big contract (not that we have cap issues) I don’t believe that he moves the needle. Would he make the Bills better? Absolutely!! Is he going to push them to the next level? I doubt it. I guess that I’d be okay with it either way if the price was right. MrSarcasm
Too expensive, contract wise and picks wise to pull the trigger. I'd do it for a 3rd rounder on up, even KB was worth the risk on that. ?
Coach55
Not for nothing, I would rather stick with the guys we have then go out and pursue high priced players - in spite of their ability (unless they are truly the right fit). McBeane has built a team around a specific, hardworking character type of players with average to above average ability. It is a platform being built for long-term, sustainable winning. There is nothing wrong with having high priced players, but as they are showing - talent isn't everything.
GunnerBill
I like Diggs. I think he is more naturally talented than Thielen but less consistent. There is a price I'd pay to do it. Anyone who trades for him is on the hook for this year and next. After next year the only guaranteed money a team trading for him is on the hook for is a $3.5m guarantee that activates at the start of the 2021 league year. So cut him before that and you avoid that too. If the Vikings trade him now they eat $12m of dead money. That would not be a smart move for them. I agree Thielen is better... but he's not a chump. While not a big dude he can make contested catches, has good hands, pretty quick. I think he's miscast in the minnesota offense TBH. He'd probably be a weapon from the slot too - if the team he played for felt so inclined to line him up there more. However - if the right players are injured or a playoff team needs him. Cooper looked LOST last year with Oakland, and still got moved for a 1st. I just look at it like - the only people acquiring a WR mid-season are playoff contenders, and the vikings fancy themselves a playoff contender. Why would you help them now? Just trade him in the offseason if you want to trade him - even if the value is worse. Or cut him in the offseason to save some cap. The question is, will we get a WR of Diggs talent level or better for the pick we would need to trade for him? I’d say no. He won’t fetch a first with his contract, and we simply have had no luck in finding decent WR’s after the first round.
StHustle
Anyone who thinks Diggs isnt a good wide receiver doesnt know football. Would EASILY be the #2 here. For those who see John Brown as a #2 then this would be a perfect pair. You dont need a #1 with two GREAT #2's

I echo the sentiment that it is Cousins who is trash. Look at Kyle Rudolph's numbers as well. You have one of the better TE's in the league and he has 8 targets and 4 catches for 20 yards in 3 games? It's insane. Cousins absolutely raped the Vikings for that 84 mill.

Last year Cousins was fourth in attempts (and top 10 in almost all categories). This year he’s last — by a lot. Vikings have radically changed their game plan this year, averaging a ‘70s era 21 pass attempts per game. Not gonna pile up many receiving stats handing off to Cook every play. The Jokeman
Diggs is a better version of Isiah McKenzie. He'd be nice to have but not sure he's worth the salary when we have two solid WRs in Brown/Beasley. Instead think we'd better suited finding a legitimate starting TE. Knox has a bright future but he's not there yet.
DCOrange
Diggs is an awesome player. Would definitely love to have him on the team. I wouldn't be upset if we sent a 2nd rounder + Zay for him. Having said that, I suspect we hold off and just wait until the draft for what should be a stacked WR class and I won't blame them for doing that either. BillsInWilmingtonNC
If my memory serves me right, I remember him having great chemistry with Case Keenum and Sam Bradford where he put up solid numbers but has never developed that same chemistry with Cousins. If he is available, I fully expect Beane will look into it and see why he has had those issues and if it is something a change of scenery might help fix because when he was good, he was one of the best at the position IMO.
