John Miller gets nice contract with Benglas

One man's trash is another man's treasure. Miller certainly has NOT impressed here in Buffalo, but I suppose he does have quite a lot of starts under his belt, so maybe that is the draw.

Miller played OK and showed some potential in the Rex/Roman/Lynn offense, but never seemed to fit in the McD/Dennison/Daboll offenses.  Perhaps a change of scenery was best for all parties involved.  If he fits the scheme, he could go on to have a good career as a solid NFL starter.  It seems like Cincy overpaid a bit, but, then again, there's a reason they call them the Bungles.  I'm glad that we're no longer the team that bungles every transaction.  Good luck big John!

And the Bengals fans laughed at us last year for signing Bodine.  SMH.

Bodine wasn’t horrible - hes serviceable, and I’d keep him as backup to Morse, but that’s more than I can say for Miller in our system.

John needed to go. Hopefully a change of scenery helps him.

Good for John Miller!

I guess theres always that one team willing to pay....

Coincidentally, it’s the same team that gave Bobby Hart $21 million! lol

I really do wish Miller well, though. I thought he kind of stopped working after his first year or two, but hopefully he learns from it and gets back to playing decent football.

I think Miller still has some upside.  He was better the year before we lost 3 OL in one off season.

I am glad we did not resign him, but I wouldn't close the door on Miller just yet either.  He has at least flashed some potential when he wasn't on a train wreck of an OL.  I am very glad we are not the one paying him to find out if he can bounce back though and love our new additions.

That being said, Bengals OL looks like a trainwreck next year, so that maybe doesn't bode well with Miller having a bounce back either.  Lets hope Bengals realize they suck and call us to take AJ off their hands :)

Any idea if this will score us a comp pick I'm 2020?

Can't say til we balance losses vs gains in FA signings.  Highly unlikely given that only 2/10 of our signings (Long, Johnson) were prior year cuts/signings.

Poor Andy Dalton. It's like he's being punished for something.

Gotta be the red hair

Doubtful since we signed 8 dudes already
