Another stat worth noting heading into this showdown is W/L against P/O teams and W/L against common opponents this year:

Playoff teams (including last week)

Bills 3-4

Chiefs 6 -3

Common opponents (including last week Steelers/WFT/Titans)

Bills 1 - 2

Chiefs 3 - 1

This data certainly favors the Chiefs as the better team but also worth noting the Bills also went 3 -1 against other teams with winning records, albeit no playoffs (MIA x 2, NO, IND)

Let's not forget this stat....

Head-To-Head Matchup

Bills-Chiefs

Bills 1-0

It’s funny how so many Chiefs fans are trying to convince themselves that the Bills defense isn’t good.   Seems to me that they are pretty concerned and looking for a reason to rationalize why the Bills aren’t as good as they really are:

To his point…there’s an element of truth there.  The Bills were fortunate to play some bad QB’s but they dominated them.

He left out Tom Brady, Ryan Tanehill, and of Course Patrick Mahomes ironically…

Ketchup is the basest form of condiment. Disgusting.

Allen has really showed how lethal of a dual threat he can be.  I think he actually runs more next year.

I hope not let a running back take those hits, it only takes one wrong hit to end our season it’s ok to improvise and make a play but those QB runs needs to slow down.

He was talking smack on Hightower the entire game.

time to Hightower to retire. He was the worst player on the field Saturday.  Worse than their all pro Jc Jokeson.  Dude got embarrassed

A lot of them looked old. Judon blew me away the 1st half of the season.  I don't even remember seeing him this past Saturday, except when Allen made him look like he was standing still.  McCourtey, Hightower, Van Noy.  Patriots fans always say they're rebuilding, but I don't see the future of that current line-up.

Barmore is a find, and will be great for them.  But it reminds me of drought-era Bills. We always had a few really good players on D.

Each condiment has their moments.  Ketchup is amazing on burgers and French fries/home fries/hash browns.  Great with Grilled cheese and solid on certain breakfast sandwiches, usually depending on the roll.  Solid on hot dogs. I prefer onions and mustard.

Forgot to mention. hot Italian sausage sandwiches on a nice crunchy roll.  Mmmhmmfat guy GIF

First of all, the only condiment on a standard burger should be mayo. Also mayo is the preferable dipping sauce for fries.

Has there ever been a 4,000 yard passer and 1,000 yard rusher?

I think that happens next year for sure with Allen.

Could not agree with you any more.

The crazy thing(s) about Allen's rushing ability are, at least to me:

1.  His speed is so deceptive.  Josh Allen is effing fast.  When running the ball, it's not like he looks slow by any stretch of the imagination, but before you know it, he's already run for 20+ yards.  It's crazy to see him take off and simply leave D lineman and even some linebackers in the dust.  I can't for the life of me(aside from the slip and fall at the Tennessee game) remember the last time he DIDN'T get a 1st down, by a country mile.

2.  As great of a runner he has become, he's still only finding ways to get even better.  I used to hold my breath every time he ran.  Now he's becoming an even smarter runner.  He still isn't afraid to bowl over a defender, hurdle one, or stiff  arm the living crap out of one, but he's also smart enough now to know when to slide.  My biggest fear with regard to him running was that defensive players were taking exception to him running the way he has been, and that someone was looking to make an example of him if given the opportunity.  But because of Allen's maturity, he limits those opportunities much more so now than before.

3.  The simple fact is, Allen is just a big, fast, physical specimen of a QB, and to be honest, there really isn't much defenses really CAN do when he takes off with it, except to hope to tackle him.

I'm with you 100% in that next year I do believe he will be the 1st QB in NFL history with 4,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing.

I agree with all this except the prediction.   I think they will try to save Josh’s running for red zone opportunities, big games during the season, down the stretch and the playoffs.   I think they have to save his body for those occasions.    But without doubt, this offense is better when he runs.

Agreed.  Playing lesser teams during the regular season there should be few (if any) designed runs.  The OC should have a shock collar or something on him to tell him to slide during the regular season against teams like the Jets when he does scramble.  They made a long term investment in him and you have to protect your asset.  That means limiting hits so he doesn't turn into Cam Newton in five years.  They need to keep investing in the o-line to help keep him clean in the pocket to both get the ball out so you don't have to scramble or get hit in the backfield.

I like catch up. But amazing on burger and fries?

Mayo goes on subs, sandwiches, and chicken/tuna salad.  Ketchup goes on burgers and mayo adds nothing to it but unnecessary fat that can dilute the taste of the burger.  I've dipped my fries in a lot of condiments (ketchup, bleu cheese, vinegar, bbq sauce, hot sauce, ranch, etc.) but dipping them in mayo is gross.

I really did feel like we tried that…down the stretch against the jets and falcons at least. Seemed like someone was forcing him to stay in the pocket against the jets when there were def rushing lanes and then Kate in the game josh said f*ck it and ripped off a big run to seal it lol

I wouldn't be surprised with that at all.  The funny thing is though, as valuable as Josh is to us as a quarterback, his running ability makes him every cent as valuable, because of the fact that you simply cannot gameplan for his ability to generate huge chunks of yardage with his legs...I mean it is insane how effortless it seems for him to get a 1st down for us when the defense calls the seemingly perfect play to stop us on 3rd down and Josh cooly takes off 3 strides later he's 20 yards down the field.  I swear I do not envy defense coordinators the week they see Buffalo on their schedule.  And like I was saying earlier, the most beautiful thing to me in all this is he's only becoming an even better, smarter runner with the football...it's a thing to behold to see how every year Josh takes these awesome strides in his passing game to become a more complete quarterback, yet I totally have been overlooking the fact that he is also evolving and improving his run game.  Scary stuff if you think about it.

I will be curious to see the demeanor of this team (esp the offense) on the field. In the last AFCCG, they just seemed shell shocked. Even in week 5, you could tell the offense was frazzled— they hit on some big plays, but just didn’t seem to be in sync.

i am hoping that they will have that calm and surgical way about them this week.

They looked like the 1988 Bills....close...but not quite ready for the big stage.

They have the experience of having been there now....they know what they need to do.

Rousseau needs to show up this game. He’s been to quite these last few games. This is why we drafted him, to have impact games during the playoffs.

He’s not really that type of player imo...if that’s what people are expecting from him, they might be in for big disappointment...

Surprisingly yes....The obnoxiousness of Cowboys fans and the "We Dem Boyz" didn't start until after Emmit, Aikman and Irvin left.

I actually agree with this point.  There is a sheer amount of over confidence here going into this game based of of last weeks and week 5's performance.

As long as the team is prepared...and they will be who cares what the fans say or think....we don't play the game..,.the team does .:)

hell, mayo is great on most things.   Truth be told, I enjoy ketchup, mayo and mustard on my burger.  2 of the 3 will suffice.  Def not as good with only one condiment in most cases.  Regular mayo with FF is not my jam.  Spicy kicked up mayo in a doctored up FF sauce, sure.  That’s some tasty stuff.  Love me some Raising Canes FF sauce.

But ketchup is amazing too.

I just remember a month or two ago Allen saying he would prefer not to run all the time in order to prevent injury.  I don't have the exact quote, but I think it's in the back of his mind... and that might be because the coaches have put it in his mind... I dunno.

That said, I do think after that a switch went off in his brain that he was being too careful about not running.  That's probably part of why he was the 7th leading rusher in the league in the last month or so of the season.

Its more like lets work on the passing game and preserve your body to survive the season....the WR's did it too.

17 games is a long haul and last year showed this team your foot cannot be to the floorboard for all of it.

They just didn't know any other way last year....older /wiser and better prepared :)

As days go on, more analysts are picking the Bills to upset the Chiefs. The spread now is -1.5 Chiefs.

Could this end up being a pick betting line? I know how much fans here like being the underdog cause our team knows it and helps light a fire. Could all this Bills win talk fire up the Chiefs?

If they aren't prepared to play the game of their lives then they have already lost ;)
