When did you guys know that we were going to win the game?

Recommended Posts

Not lying when I say this....after Roberts first kickoff.  That seemed to set to the tone for the day....kinda like Roberts letting the ball bounce off his shoulder pads against TN.

After Roberts ran it for I think 60 yards?  I said to myself "damn...we're going to win this game".

Outside of that, were you guys nervous at all at any point?  Memories of the Rams game start creeping in?

I was weirdly confident all week going into the game. That being said it wasn't until the Tre pick that I was 100% convinced. They played so confident all game - it was really reassuring. I feel that if they can bring that focus and intensity each week they can beat anyone in the league.

I have this Fat Lady who lives next door. Nice weather, so we had the back doors open. When I heard her singing, I knew we had it in the bag! That happened to occur when there was 0:00 time on the clock.

Thought all week we'd lose this game. I was thinking a 37-27 seahawks victory. I just didn't think the bills were to the seahawks level yet. Glad I was wrong. Seahawks looked like a shell of themselves even though Wilson's numbers were really high

Probably when they went up 44-27.

Wilson is so dangerous and I was never comfortable until it was a 3 score lead late in the game.

Yeah, agreed. I was kind of pissed that McDermott punted it back to Seattle on that 4th and 1, after Russell Wilson just killed us on a big play. There was maybe 7-8 minutes left, and I remember saying, "He JUST showed you that he can hang 7 points on you in 10 seconds!!!!!! Don't give him the ball back!" It ended up working out when the Seattle O-line decided to let AJ Klein have a free shot at Russ, but that was the moment right there. Once we took that ball back away there, that was it.

I was psyched in the first.   But definitely in the 4th qtr with 10 minutes to go.

For me, it was when there was about 3 minutes left in the game.  Seattle was driving, but not getting out of bounds, not taking timeouts, not hustling to get the next play off. It seemed like they were resigned to lose.  That's when I was resigned the Bills would win.  It was odd how Seattle had a complete lack of urgency.

When AJ Klein showed up in the second half.

@Virgil, where are your thoughts?

Honestly, I knew before halftime.  Russ can comeback, but I never felt like we weren't in control of this game.  When Josh has that look in his eyes and you realize that no one besides the TE's and Metcalf has any catches, you know it's going to be a good ride.

Once we started kneeling down.

This game was AMAZING to watch.

This was when I was 100% sure the Bills would win. I wonder if I would have felt differently if G. Davis catch and run was ruled a TD instead of the Bills settling for a FG.
