  1. Hey everyone! I'm going to the game Sunday for the first time since the Tyrod years (a great win over the Raiders). I'm coming from Rochester & I'm just wondering a bit of advice regarding what time I should head out, best parking options, etc. No tailgating plans, but walk around and mingle for a bit. Thank you & obviously go Bills
  2. Lots of scorching hot takes in here today, so tough to tell 😆
  3. Right? I mean he's a professional athlete so obviously he's strong AF but I stood next to Mario Williams before...that man looked like he would have been able to flip over a car but I never saw him bullrush like Von has done his entire career.
  4. The 4th down stop on Jones was absolutely unreal. Von is hardly a small guy, but he doesn't look big enough to blow up THE ENTIRE OFFENSIVE LINE.
  5. This may have been said in other threads before, but any Bills fan that has not already subscribed to Cover 1's channel absolutely has to. Honestly some of the best Bills coverage out there.
  6. I just want to take a moment to appreciate how amazing it is that there is not an absolutely obvious need for the team to try and go after. Some CB depth would be nice but I'd rather see them sign Haden than give up draft capital, but seriously this is a very great time to be a Bills fan!
  7. It's mentioned in this one - https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34460423/buffalo-bills-punter-matt-araiza-two-san-diego-state-football-players-accused-gang-raping-minor-lawsuit
  8. There are loads of comments here so if this was already mentioned in some way, I apologize for the redundancy. Araiza's lawyer said that Matt acknowledged that he didn't think that this would go anywhere until the Times article came out. That is enough of a confession of enough wrongdoing to me to cut him, and to cut him TODAY.
  9. I'll call it a tie with the 51-3 AFCCG game, and that takes nothing away from this game at all (obviously). Both were absolutely amazing performances. For fun, I highly recommend that any younger Bills fans that aren't familiar with the 51-3 game, check it out on Youtube. The Raiders talked trash all week going into the game and if I'm not mistaken, they had to take a timeout on the opening possession because the Bills already had them out of breath.
  10. All of this makes me all the more thankful of our situation. Are Beane & McDermott perfect? Of course not, but they are light years beyond some of the men running organizations. Speaking of...if Joe Judge remains employed after this season then I'm convinced I deserve a shot as a head coach.
  11. Yeah me too but if that side of the story is accurate then I hate to say it, but I sort of get the reaction (jumping up & down on the ankle notwithstanding) and think the NFL should look into it. NFL team "doctors" are an utter joke when it comes to player health.
  12. You buried the lede. I'm not saying that Motor/Moss/Breida have been great by any means and they certainly haven't really helped themselves, but short of Derrick Henry, no back is going to perform well behind the run blocking of this OL. They have been absolutely dreadful.
  13. Just saw this on twitter... https://www.buffalobills.com/news/marshawn-lynch-set-to-return-to-buffalo-as-the-bills-legend-of-the-game-week-11 Some folks here aren't a fan but I've always loved Lynch & glad he was able to get a ring.
  14. Hey guys and gals, did you know that Janoris Jenkins nickname is Jackrabbit? Sweet fancy Moses was that the most annoying announcing ever, and I generally don't typically hate the MNF crew as much as others. Watching the game, I was like...
  15. While I agree that the O-line needs to be upgraded in the offseason, I am baffled by the Morse hate in this thread. He has likely been their best and most consistent lineman all season, particularly as a pass blocker. To say "60 needs to be upgraded" is something to hope for I guess but that would be much easier said than done. Now upgrading over Feliciano? Personally I don't think that would be nearly as difficult.
  16. On a few throws in the game he didn't have much of a choice other than throwing a bit flat footed and it really didn't matter. Look at the (very) deep throw to Diggs and Knox's 3rd catch. Allen barely stepped into those throws at all and it just didn't matter. His arm strength is absolutely incredible and honestly it looks like it has gotten stronger.
  17. Nicely done and if you're at all like me, isn't it pretty weird not having an incredibly obvious hole to fill on the roster? After so many years of just awful rosters, this is a refreshing change. I like your list but I might put DL in 5th place just because Addison is likely gone and Jerry isn't getting any younger. I definitely think we will draft at least a couple offensive linemen for depth or to replace a current starter. I also definitely think we will go for a WR, maybe even early but if it were me, my #2 WR is someone already on the team - re-sign Sanders. I know he's not going to be around for a decade but he just seems like one of those guys that can stick around for a long time and be effective like Rice (not comparing him to Rice, just how long I think he can play) or Darrell Green.
  18. The shorter list would be who had a bad game. Seriously...who had a bad game last night!
  19. Through the preseason and the first couple of games my biggest takeaway is that the whole line is playing betting and beating their blocks and that's making it a whole lot easier for would be sacks/pressures to become actual sacks/pressures. It's sort of like the anti-Jerry Hughes years to me. For a long time now, Jerry was the best pass rusher on the team and would very often beat his man, but no one else would, so it wouldn't take much for the opposing QB to escape the pressure. Please note that I'm not diminishing Rousseau at all - he seems farther along than I thought he would be at this point. As far as a player comp, his use of arm extension reminds me a lot of Trey Flowers and Khalil Mack. Very effective move & made me appreciate the whole idea of arm length being important in the pre-draft process. Hopefully he can add a few more moves to his repertoire too 😃
  20. I really didn't understand Moss being a healthy scratch at all. If he's healthy then he should be active. I'm so sick of a skill position player like Taiwan Jones being active only for special teams. I get that special teams is important but so is the offense, so when Moss - statistically one of the best pas protecting RBs in the entire league last year, and a pretty versatile back in general - is a healthy scratch, I just don't get it. The article does sound a bit alarmist but I think Daboll is a bit overrated. He's clearly a good coordinator but I think criticism is justified. Motor was looking pretty effective and he ends up with two more carries than JA...to me that's not great.
  21. I have a feeling that today might be one of the loudest crowds in Bills history. Wish I could be there to contribute!
  22. For a newbie that's a pretty good first draft. The JA pick is a reach/homer pick but that's okay - at least you can root for your fantasy team as much as your real favorite team 😄 Out of curiosity is the scoring for the league 4 points or 6 points for a passing TD? Personally I would check the free agents available because there is likely a RB or WR that will have better production than Gabe.
  23. Man did that make me feel old. I know I'm not in the majority but I really couldn't care less about any of that...I just want to eat/drink in the lot before the game and then not be miserably cold/wet when I get in 😆 Ultimately I will be happy to get a new stadium no matter what it is but REALLY hope that it has a roof, mostly for the quality of the product on the field.
