Pack grabbed him off the Eagles practice squad and immediately made an impact. You won't find a CB around with his length, he's pretty quick too. Admittedly haven't seen a lot of Green Bay this season, but have seen a lot of Douglas since he came out of that good 2017 draft class. The Eagles ended up cutting him, 3 years after spending a 3rd on him because teams CONSTANTLY targeted him then he bounced around practice squads before sticking in Green Bay. No team in the NFL has misevaluated DBs as consistently as Green Bay in the past decade. For a 3rd with a 5th coming back I really do not like this. I think he is a better fit in our scheme than Elam but he is a lateral move from Jackson and Benford for me. appoo Posted October 31, 2023 Share Posted October 31, 2023 (edited) if you're worried about the 3rd round pick, that's valid considering Buffalo has gotten some value there recently (Terrell Bernard, Dorian Williams, Spencer Brown), but drafting a 3rd round pick who will be as good as Douglas will be the next 3-4 years is going to be tough. Of course thew downside of that is that Douglas' Cap hit (4-6M after an extension) is 4 - 6x higher than a 3rd round draft pick.
