Rasul Douglas to Bills - per Rap

SCBills

Recommended Posts

4 picks last season, 5 picks the year before. Started 12 games last season and all games this season.

Definitely could do a lot worse. Just said on NFL Network that it looks like Jaylon Johnson isn't going to be moved.

Glad to see Beane pivot and still address the CB position.

An immediate starter for Buffalo, next year has an 11M cap hit but easily extendible at Age 28/29, plays mostly zone in the Pack coverages, but can play Man (which is good for the Bills who switch coverages often), and has a future at safety if need be

Looks like 9M next year actually.  6 and change is base salary that can either be deferred (if you only want to keep him for 2024), or can be extended to lower the cap burden in 2024.

Douglas has been super underrated for the last couple of years. He gets overshadowed by Jaire Alexander but Douglas has been really good in his own right. This is a very good get for the Bills. Surprised the Packers gave up on him. I'm suspecting a 3rd.

Jaire Alexander is the loud mouthed punk who gets abused far too often by good receivers while Douglas is the quiet guy doing his job on the other side without saying a word.

Picking off the guy who leads the NFL in turnovers since he got to the NFL, isn't exactly saying much lol

What else does the guy who leads the NFL in turnovers lead the league in since he got to the NFL?

CB for the Packers.  A good player. Watch more football and you would.

You have to know that not everyone sits on their ass everyday All Day and looks at a computer and watches TV. You strike me as an everyday/all day kinda guy...

Hope the guy works out here.

Don't like it, especially not for a 3rd round pick.  Is he even going to start over Benford and Jackson?

That 3rd round pick could be way more important to this team as we will have a lot of holes to fill.

He absolutely can and should start over Jackson, who doesn't seem to like tackling in run support.
