It's still as it always was.. a 3 year guaranteed deal.

Have to hope he can give us next year and '24 what we were hoping from him this year.

Have to think this might be shutting the door on him playing into the year to year 4-6 part of the deal.

Agree, but he will be 34 before he can return and there is not guarantee he heals quick at this age. We may not see him back to form until he’s 35.

Yea.. I think we'd likely just slow play it next year with him so he's an added piece for the playoffs.

At the end of the day, that's all we ever needed him for.. sucks we won't see it this year.

You guys are going overboard. Tre is back right now. Come on now.

Von 6 years older and has torn the ACL in the same knee before. I'm not a doctor, but that probably has an impact on recovery time? I don't know...

Point still stands.... Even if comes back late next year he'll be 34 coming off an ACL....

Over $100 million flushed down the toilet. Could have spent on a high pick WR and 3 or 4 offehsive linemen.

Yeah, we should also not have paid Josh Allen. I mean, he could get hurt!

Serious question, do you think at all before hitting the Submit Reply button?

Does this suck? Absolutely! But get out of here with the "What a waste" or "terrible contract" takes. We were all completely fine with the contract and extremely happy with Von and his production. Injuries happen. Contracts are a calculated risk. It sucks we got burnt by an injury on turf that the NFLPA is demanding gets replaced. But we are still a 9-3 team, with a great shot at making some noise in the post-season. We still have the best QB in the game steering our squad for years to come. It will be ok.

Not to kick a team when they're down, but....

For a FO that gutted a roster because of "cap hell", this feels a little too familiar.

We are estimated $10M over a $220M cap for 2023. $18M of that is a 34 year old DE with a torn ACL that won't play.

I think we are in a bit of cap hell, now.
