BuffaloRebound
Josh needs to throw his way more near goal line and in big spots. Dude came up huge. He actually fights for the ball and for yardage unlike our #1 WR 14 1 1

Sammy Watkins' Rib
LOL. I just bumped an older one. Davis needs to be on the field more than Sanders. Period. I think he was today but not sure if Sanders was injured? Tuned out large parts of the second half so may have missed an injury. But all season long Davis has been out producing Sanders on both a per snap and per target basis. I think today he was finally on the field for more snaps as the box score shows 8 targets for Davis to just 1 for Sanders. Davis is also young and part of this teams future potentially. He needs to be on the field a lot.

Real McClappy
He needs to be our #2 WR here out. This kid could honestly become a #1 as I don't think he has reached his peak yet.
Brandon
Gabe Davis makes plays every time he gets the opportunity. He needs to be on the field more often, if not full time.

Over 29 years of fanhood
Yep- he’s better for this offense than sanders. I didn’t predict that, enthusiastically supported sanders acquisition and love his approach to the game, but gabe on the field makes the team better Edited December 13, 2021 by Over 29 years of fanhood
Warcodered
Felt like he really showed up when we changed our play style in the second half, you know when the offense was actually working.
Sammy Watkins' Rib
Earlier in the year there was a thought that Davis had taken a step back this year. He wasn't as good as last year. I don't think the numbers ever supported that. He just wasn't seeing the field because we were forcing Sanders into a starting role.
Aussie Joe
Great play on that 4th down to fight for the yards.. Process
I don't think we've seen enough to say he's the number two wide receiver long term. Right now I think that will be a major need next offseason. But he's earned the job for the rest of this year, without question.
damj
I love Sanders... Great vet, class act and locker room leader. But if his injury keeps him out, it will allow Davis a chance to play, and Davis deserves it. This kid can play

Kwai San
My issue w Manny is he gets a catch and acts like he won the SB each and every time. Personally that is unacceptable to me. Put the damn ball down and go back to the huddle! Celebrate AFTER the win please. Go Gabe Davis!!!! 1

davefan66
Davis needs to play more for sure. Really played well today with extended time. Sanders needs to play less. Seems to stunt the offense when he’s in. Not sure why, but Josh seems to forget about others when he’s in. Diggs, Beas and Davis need to be our go-to receivers.

CSBill
Davis should have had a starting role a long time ago. I like Sanders, but he has taken time from Davis. Davis is better.
billsbackto81
I like Sanders but he just wasn't needed. An unnecessary luxury if you will. That 7 mil could have been spent on a established pass rusher, established O lineman or established CB. Gabe had the WR2 spot covered after his rookie year. 1
TUBSTER
Maybe it was scheme, adjustments, or play-calling, but did anyone else think that the offense was better when Sanders was off the field? Davis seems to come up big in every opportunity he finds himself in.
BADOLBILZ
He got two yards after a catch. That was good but Tampa's receivers were stacking YAC yards all game. The Bills badly need a fast, elusive target in their WR corps that can make a play after the catch. BADLY. Allen played great but still ended up with less than 6 yards per pass attempt cuz these guys got no juice. Beasley, in particular is having a pathetic yards per reception season. Almost impossibly bad. Gabe isn't going to be that RAC guy. 1

Maine-iac
Sanders has spent most of his career in the slot so I'm not sure why he got moved into an outside spot where Davis is clearly much better. Sanders should be inside spelling Beasley and finding holes in the zone or running crossing routes. At least this is one thing they seem to have figured out.
TampaBillsJunkie
Gabe instead of Sanders for the rest of the year. Sanders knee issue may open that door, but Davis is clearly more physical and has better hands. Sanders runs better routes but we already have that in Diggs and Beas. We need some size and physicality outside of Knox catching balls.
Nextmanup
He's 6'2" and 210 lbs and physical. He got that huge first down today fighting for every inch. Is there another receiver on this team who makes that same play?
ChronicAndKnuckles
By signing Sanders, they stunted the development of Davis who was one of my breakout players this year. He's one of our only WRs besides Kumerow w/ actual size. I don't get why they're holding him back when everytime he's on the field he produces and makes clutch catches. Beanie actually drafts a good offensive player and they refuse to use him. It's mind boggling.

BillMafia716ix
Davis is a beast. I called it last season. Sanders wasn’t really a need for us. Instead of trying to fix our running game they went and signed another WR. Go figure that one.
