Are we going to be like the obnoxious and unbearable Patriot fans?

If our Bills team ends up being a dynasty and winning multiple Super Bowls

This is quite possibly one of the last things on my list of stuff to worry about. But since you brought it up, I doubt we will somehow forget that football existed before our star QB entered the league and become blind to all evidence of cheating.

Were we really too far off from that look after losing 4 Super Bowls?  At the time, nobody else in our division was even getting a whiff of a Super Bowl, we OWNED Miami during the early and mid 90's and I don't remember being shy about assisting any of their fans raise their awareness of that...  Good Times!  In other words... Hell yes!

I remember hearing stories about the workers at Foxboro dreading the arrival of Bills fans and comparing it to an invasion of Huns.

The fanbase was totally obnoxious to opposing fans at that point.

The worst part of the Patriots fanbase is that they were heavy bandwagonners............very few real Pats fans existed prior to them winning MULTIPLE SB's.

I suppose it's inevitable.

The Patriot fanbase is basically the same one who looked at Yankees fans for decades and criticized them for being "arrogant" and entitled. Then they BECAME Yankees fans.  Worse, actually.

I don't think we'd be as bad, though. Western NY in general is just a more grounded region. I think we'll have much more gratitude than arrogance.

yeah, but people could still always trot out Wide Right and Boy I Love Losing Super Bowls jokes in response, which kept us *somewhat* in check. That said, most of us also knew that football actually existed before we got good, which also differentiated us from Pats* “fans.”

No, we will always remember the path to get their and Our HC will always keep us humble and hungry.

As opposed to, "if you can't beat them, cheat them," and "win at all cost and if that means selling your soul, you do it, no questions asked."

See?  See the difference, my friends?

And!

And! And.....

Bills Mafia means Love!  (Look it up, it's true!)

Go Bills!

We will be obnoxious, but we won't be as obnoxious as NE fans. They are the obnoxious champions.

There's something in the New England water that's a special strain of obnoxious. We don't have that.

IT'S why Bills never won a SB... God knew that the fans would be the absolute worse.  Just imagine winning 4 in a row.

He's teaching us a hard lesson in humility.  It ain't gonna work! 😉

I think there’s a few that have already begun on their path to becoming just like those pats fans….and this team hasn’t even been to one SB.

Case in point is anyone who thinks the Steelers have zero chance to win the game and already know that we’re going to blow them out.  I’ve seen several posts predicting just that.  Many based on the Steelers weak OL and the offense they ran last year (with a different OC).  I think we win, maybe by 2+ scores, but I’m getting deja by from 5 or so years ago when our vaunted cold front D went up against the pats, who’s OL was in shambles due to injury.  Many here, me included, were sure that our Pass rush was going to bring the pain on brady.  We did nothing of the sorts and their patchwork OL had their way with our defense.

any given sunday   Stay humble

I don't gloat about sports. Win or lose, my contribution involved sitting on the couch with a beer in hand, so it's not my place to trash-talk with other fans.

I also refuse to become that which I despise, regardless of my contribution level.

Every teams fanbase becomes this way when their team becomes good. Kc fans are unbearable. Hopefully the sb loss last year chilled them out, but after the afc championship game last year, they were just pure obnoxious. I hope bills fans are never this way and remember the 17 years we suffered
