I kinda agree with this by Gugs - stuff gonna happen, certainly didn't help the cause but overall this season he has improved over last. Maybe 2 wonky kicks and the rest purdy dang good.
atlbillsfan1975
He has had more good punts than bad ones. I just hope that he doesn’t cost us a playoff game due to a bad hold or punt. Edited November 17, 2020 by atlbillsfan1975
4BillsintheBurgh
Seemed to me he just tried to smash it to help the team out and it backfired on him. I think overall he's been more consistent than in previous years but he has to keep improving like ja has to keep his job. I'm sure it will go over well when Bass has an off day too.
EmotionallyUnstable
Bojo has been booming them. That being said, when you DO shank one, ya gotta hope it goes farther than 12 yards
Blank Stare
I may be in the minority here, but I think they should’ve moved on from Bojo a long time ago. Sure, he can get ahold of one pretty good from time to time, but fairly underwhelming overall for me.

oldmanfan
Terrible kick of course, but if we got rid of everyone who makes one mistake at work we'd have no businesses in the world. I would be looking for another punter because he's not doing a good job killing kicks inside the 10 yard line.
thenorthremembers
He is number 4 in punting average, and number 11 in net. Having a good season, but really hasnt had to punt much. That said, that was maybe the worst punt I've ever seen.

colin
consistency is more important than net yards or gross yards. that punt basically cost us 3 points. he's not an asset to the team, but the whole team is so inconsistent that i wonder if the issue isn't deeper 1

He's a consistently good kicker. Yeah, that was an awful punt, but everyone has them. IMO he's getting better. I think he'll be here for a while, and for good reason.

Inigo Montoya
It was actually a fantastic punt. What you didn’t see is that his shanked punt hit Dan Lebatard in the stands knocking him unconscious. Some things are more important than football. First Round Bust
yes the good ones and bad ones happen - throw out the 72 and 12 yarders out and that is what you have...the timing was not good, we needed a boomer at that time and we got a shank///1970s Marv Bateman comes to mind he would boom and shank more than the average punter. He's having a pretty solid season. BTW- his 12 yard punt didn't make it tough on the coverage team. They didn't have to do much of anything. Do you have an issue with 70 yard punts as well? He flipped the field in the Tennessee game with a long punt.

He flipped the field in the Tennessee game with a long punt. The inconsistency makes it tough. He is aiming for an area of the field where the coverage scheme is designed to focus. If he kicks it somewhere else- shorter, to the other side, even deeper, then coverage can be difficult. Consistency is critical in getting a good net punting average and avoiding big plays against. I don't think he's having a terrible season. He is in the middle of the pack in net punting average and punts inside the 20. But this is an area he can improve on, IMO. Orlando Tim
If it continues we can cut him but it was one bad punt on the year. Also several people have blamed him putting in the end zone but our punt coverage people are not getting down there to down it, he had at least one land at the 5 and then bounce in.
