JimKellyTryouts
Sal's write up was a little uninspiring... Injuries, overpowered in terms of blocking, won't adjust to poor passes (which Josh needs to work on), etc. I think it's better than the Bengals choosing to resign Uzomah for almost the same amount with much less production when he started, but..my gut reaction means nothing, and I'll hope for the best. Iamkrgr
Quite a bit of money for a guy that hasn't been healthy. Not a fan of this one. Let's see what else they have in store. So far a weak start to free agency.
mjt328
Very similar to the Kevin Johnson signing. He's a young guy who has shown flashes, but has been derailed by injuries. I like these moves as value signings. But $6 million+ per year seems a little high.

Pencil him in as your starter next season, folks. We'll see if he can put up a similar year like he did in '17, catching 42 for 404 and seven touchdowns (that scoring mark would have tied for #Bills team high in '18). Pete
overpaying again for some chump TE. We lose out on Paradis, Humphries, AB, James, etc. I was hoping to fill in holes with $80 million. Well we got a backup TE, 1st round bust, and old RB to play down 3rd back. WTF? Same old Bills

brianthomas
I'm not a big fan of paying considerable money to a player who has only had 1 decent year. A year followed by a bad year at that. I mean we can all say "hey, at least we did something", but like other moves we've made in the past, we're paying good money for players who havent necessarily 'proved it' in the NFL. Hopefully we're still looking to improve the TE position because even with this signing, we're still in the same spot as we were before imo. Yeah we have another body but cmon, can't we do better?

Success
Fans always want big splash signings. But those rarely make teams successful. Spread the dollars around and build depth. I have complete faith in Beane. 8

LabattBlue
Big risk...he only missed two games in his first 3 years, but last year only played in 5 games. If he is healthy, he should be a solid starter. If the injury woes continue, that will be a big chuck of cap space in the trainers room.

Rockpile233
I don’t hate either of these signings all that much in a bubble, but if they aren’t afterthoughts to some difference makers on the OL it’s a huge failure.
Chuck Wagon
Would have so much rather paid Humphries $ 8 mil a year (or $9-$10 if that's what it took) than Kroft $ 6.25 mil.
