Fin Heaven is a five alarm fire right now. They want to fire the owner, fire the GM, fire the coach, fire half the players, fire the ball boy.  One poster said the Phins can't even cheat right and they lost two draft picks because of it.

The entire Phin's Nation is on tilt.  They're wearing white after Labor Day and combining plaids and stripes.  They're fighting a land war in Asia.  They're taking wooden nickels.  They're crying over spilt milk.  They're cutting tags off mattresses. They're starving a cold and stuffing a fever.  They're paying $20,000 for Taylor Swift tickets.  They're eating gas station sushi.  They're running with scissors.  They're smoking with their oxygen on.  One of them just killed John Wick's dog.

Were people pulling for the Pats today?

I'll never really get that.  I'd be happy to see that team miss the playoffs from now until the continents merge back into a single landmass millions of years from now.

I was, so they could screw the Dolphins. Now I'm rooting for the Steelers to screw the Patriots.

I'm also enjoying the circle completing itself in Seattle right now.  Total Bills drought team in NY this season. The Patriots held the door open a crack for the Jets, the Jets had the QB the fans like coming back, they were playing another mediocre team.  Now their season is going to be ended by Geno Smith.  It's glorious.

They will sign Tom Brady in offseason and try to take over the AFC East again…

Not happening though. Go for it Tom!!

Tom is either retiring or is going to LV to help save McDaniels job. It’s either Jimmy G or Derek Carr for Miami

The Dolphins hype was just that, hype. The media wanted to make an MVP out of Tua and COY out of McDaniel. They were crowning them as the team that would knock off Buffalo as the AFCE Champs. Sorry about your luck. Hopefully they fall flat next week too.

Ya I was like this guy seems like an interesting coach and then it was like this guy is a tool.

wearing shirts and buying new sneakers to break the losing streak

He went from a laid back more common sense kinda weird/different head coach back to position coach

The sneakers is a position coach thing you joke with your guys about and same as the t shirt thing - as a head coach you can't do that

I could easily see the Jets still find a way to beat them even if Tua is back.

If Tua plays against the Jets, he will get beat up again and the whole off season convo will be what the Fins will do.

I predict Brady will go back to the Pats next year to play and take over the HC/GM role after.

So let me try and understand where this leaves it...

New England are "win and in" next week in Buffalo;

If New England lose then a win for Miami over the Jets gets them in, but if they also lose then two wins (tonight and v Cleveland) get the Steelers in?

And I think there is one more (very remote) possibility where Tennessee beats Jacksonville but the Jags get in as the 7th seed at 8-9 as part of a 4 way tie on conference record.... or would some bizarre H2H kick in first?

Brady’s no idiot.  He would never purposely play in a division that had peak Josh Allen in it.

I will point out that back in the 90s they were 9-2 and then missed the playoffs, so not the WORST collapse in franchise history.

I remember that.

That was funny.

Miami is out if the Jets beat them.

If Miami beats NY, we could potentially be hosting the Fins on WC weekend.

I am assuming we beat NE next week. No way do I see us losing to them with so much to play for.

Pittsburgh is done after Baltimore beats them tonight.

So you gave up on the Bills getting the #1 seed?

And actually the route to the #2 seed ans hosting the #7 seed is out of our hands if we are not the #1 seed.

Win tomorrow we will be the #1 seed. Lose tomorrow we drop to the #3 and then need Baltimore to beat the Bengals week 18 to regain the #2.

The #3 seed likely means playing Baltimore at home in the WC (because they will have lost to Cincy so the Chargers are almost certainly the #5), then @Cincy again in the divisional and @KC in the AFCCG. That would be a fair old gauntlet to go through!

The #2 seed would get us NE/MIA/PIT and then probably still the Bengals but at least that would be at home.

The #1 seed means BYE then probably the Chargers at home and sends Cincy to KC so even forget homefield in the AFCCG it is the best outcome regardless.

If it's possible I think I've grown to despise this team, owner, coach more than New England (they're just sad now). The media hype definitely plays a role.

From their cheating owner to their despicable, arrogant imbecile of a coach to their low life players (Hill, Wilkins, etc.) I agree with you whole heartedly.

That was funny.

He has two kids that live in Miami, if he was going to go somewhere and still see his kids, it’s Miami.

Plus, as we all know, Brady is buddies with the owner and others in the front office.

Its all conjecture, but it’s an interesting story.

Not like LV is much better having Mahomes there…
