This is going to make a couple people upset that the Bills reunion isnt going to happen. 1

Low Positive
In all seriousness, the Beasley, Morse and Mongo signings in the summer of 2019 were key moments in turning this franchise around.

Yup. Beasley was a big contributor in our turn around. He just doesnt have it anymore. Father time gets everyone. Everyone except Brady who looks like he will still play when he is nothing more than a skull.

Yeah, first game was after Tom hit him on 3rd and 7 and he went down at 5 yards. The next week was after a miscue along the lines of Bease broke right and Tom threw left. I think these were before the Chiefs game. Packers and Saints. I dont really think it was the reason he left. I'm sure it had more to do with Bucs getting guys back, and they were going to release him anyways. But it was entertaining to see two angry douches arguing while it lasted.

YAC came up for discussion with Sal on WGR radio just this morning, mentioned and dwelled on the fact that YAC includes yards gained from behind LoS, which pads the league-leader (a RB - Austin Ekeler - 6-49 - 1 TD last game) stats somewhat, approx 50 yards IIRC ? so if a RB has a phat YAC factor this into the equation somewhat... https://scores.nbcsports.com/fb/leaders.asp?type=Receiving&range=NFL&rank=

My understanding is that Brady is well-known to want his receivers to run exact, predictable routes - and to fight for the YAC. "Get Open, Catch the Ball" doesn't fly with Tampa Tommy. BillsShredder83
One of my fav Bills of McBean Era. That SB run wouldn't have been possible without him, that's how I'm Choosing to remember him. Broken leg and ribs and powering through anyways. That first year of him and Jon Brown was awesome too. Thanks Cole!

Since1981
Beasley retired two weeks after joining Tom Brady “He is ready to be with his family after playing in 11 seasons and it’s time to be a full-time dad and husband,” Turner said. (It’s hard not to wonder whether that message will register with the team’s starting quarterback.)” Edited October 5, 2022 by Since1981

It was mostly around the COVID Protocols and the front office not having his back more. Good player for us, and will never forget the guy playing on a broken leg. Despite the COVID stuff, it was obvious his skills were starting to diminish. Glad he gets to spend time with his wife and kids. Never a bad thing to be a 33 year old retired multimillionaire. Beas will always be beloved in Buffalo. What he meant to the team and helping Josh turn into the cyborg superstar he is today. That doesn't happen without veterans like Smoke, Manny & Rock a Bye Beasley. I know the whole covid situation got a little salty, but as a vaccinated person, he had every right to his own decision.

Mr. Irrelevant
I disagreed with his stance on getting vaccinated, but that aside, he was a terrific Bill. I was stunned when he first signed as a free agent, not believing he'd chose the Bills over Dallas, but he was a great contributor all the while he was in Buffalo. At the end of 2020, he was playing with a cracked bone in his leg and gutted it out. Enjoy retirement.
