Process
Wow. You can stick a fork in the Titans if this is true. The AFC continues to look weaker and weaker each week. Edited November 1, 2021 by Process
Roundybout
RIP Titans. Can't see Tannehill carrying this team himself and furthermore I wonder how long this injury lingers for Henry. 2

Forward Progress
Damn!!! I am horrible person, because my first thought was, "there goes my fantasy team." I hate to see players lose time to injury, especially superstars like Henry. If Henry is gone for the year, this will affect the Titans in the same way that losing a QB does to most teams.
mannc
Hate to see anyone injured, but when you give a RB that many touches, he’s going to get dinged up. I have feeling the Titans will still be very tough without Henry. 1
4_kidd_4
Too bad. Aside from when he’s playing us I do enjoy watching him. Total throwback style, run right over you player. 8
starrymessenger
Sorry to hear this. Hope it’s not season ending. Scary as he is I’d much rather see him play than sit. There are plenty of good backs in the league but only a few true franchise players. He’s the best. 2

As you allude to, depending on a single player to badger the opposing D and with his running style, the likelihood of such injuries does go up significantly. Vrabel should have known better than to wear out Henry in that way. I dont agree with the last part of your post. Henry's presence sets up their entire offense due to the commitments the opposing D has to make to contain him. The Titans O will just not be the same and good teams such as the Bills will take advantage. Titans may still win a lot of games, but will lose the ones that matter. MAJBobby
Karma for Vrable 219 Carries already and not even 50% in to season. well Tenn you wanted to run Henry into the ground you got it. billsbackto81
Major blow because he is not someone you replace with a plug and play player. No team is going to stack the box for whoever replaces Henry. And Tannehill is not going to thrive without the threat of Henry keeping defenses honest. 1

Not counting Julio because they'll be lucky if he plays half the games. Back down to earth for Tannehill. 1

WhoTom
Injury or not, I didn't think he'd be able to carry them deep into the playoffs. They could still make the playoffs thanks to being in a weak division, but without him, they're one-and-done.

Their running game and play action game will be nowhere near the same without Henry. Edited November 1, 2021 by billsfan1959 1

But there's a chance his run is over.
RunTheBall
Titans are done if this is true. Near equivalent to us losing Allen as their entire O runs through Henry. No need to stack the box, double Jones and Tannehill will do Tannehill things. 3

Jumpsuit Jim
This really sucks. Henry is a true bruiser of a running back - big, strong, crazy fast. If this injury does take him out for the rest of the season, it becomes one more case study on why the NFL is devaluing the running game. One person (other than QB) going out should not derail an entire team.

Rocky Landing
If you're going to hang your offense on one star player, running back would have to be the riskiest. As tough as Henry is, it was just a matter of time.
Ethan in Cleveland
Wow I hate to see star players get hurts. It diminishes the game. It will be really interesting to see if they can pivot to a pass first offense with AJ Brown and Julio Jones
zevo
it will be interesting to see how their adapts...I don't think its going to be as terrible as it may seem...if tannehil gets going, he has great weapons in the passing game. ill take the wait and see approach before burying them

Coach Tuesday
Bad for the NFL in what has been - other than our beloved Bills - a truly uninspiring, boring, anodyne season with tons of blowouts and many teams completely out of the running within 6 weeks of opening day.

First Round Bust
wow...biggest impact imagined...productive oh yeah but way too many carries...too many seasons...plus the post-season workload..another reason to value the passing game over the running game all things being equal...bring the titans back down more than 1 notch for sure
