Matt_In_NH
These guys think he is super physical...never really saw him as that so much, not that he was not physical just more an all around good safety. https://finheaven.com/threads/poyer-to-miami.382940/

blacklabel
Wasn't he rumored to sign there during 2022 free agency? And then Beane matched or beat their offer. I could be misremembering. I am what they call, "unsmart."
Mr. WEO
19 minutes ago, BillsFooteball said: Appreciate the memories with poyer but I’m sure him and his wife couldn’t be happier. This a move they desperately advocated for multiple times last offseason. Once no interest back to bills he went. Good for them but won’t enjoy the results or fan base nearly as much come on....the co-eds are much hotter at the U than at UB.....

I think he’s still good if you can bring him down in the box but he’s lost a step and it was impossible to keep him at the salary he was signed to. Logic
Good for him. He gave his heart and soul to Buffalo, and THEY chose to cut HIM. He gets to move closer to home, make his wife happy, and play for a pretty good team. I'm genuinely happy for him. I hope he stays healthy and plays well, and that he enjoys finishing in second place in the AFC East next season

GunnerBill
Can't be mad. He was still an above average safety in 2023 and the Bills let him go. He was always gonna play somewhere.

RichRiderBills
I thought Poyer got trucked more than established physical play in the last 2 years. He struggled when confronted directly or straight on. His best games as a pro in the last 2 years where when he had some better angles and solid coverage. At his best, he was a physical hybrid type safety that was highly balanced and had a knack for generating turnovers ....but not as physical as a quality true old school strong. Blank Stare
Hey guys…don’t worry. At least we got our 4th string LB. I’m cool with cutting Poyer and even him sticking it to the Bills for doing so, but get your ass in gear with a plan Beane.
