GunnerBill
No. If he wants to come back to Buffalo for 2-3 mill and ring chase, sure. But he has his ring so I can't see that. 3 1
HappyDays
He'll be 31 this year and hasn't had a good season since 2020. I would take him as a last resort option if we can't get one of the better veteran WRs that will be available. Would much prefer a clear upgrade though, not a shot in the dark. 1 2
Nextmanup
As depth help, if we could get him cheap, sure. Â His blocking alone could be an advantage with play design, though I don't think our OC operates on that sort of level. Â Â 2
SoCal Deek
I’ve been waiting for this thread. I loved Robert Woods both in college and as a professional. He’s bounced around a lot but has always looked productive to me.
Straight Hucklebuck
He fits the profile of the veteran WR that Beane signs in FA.  Emmanuel Sanders, Jamison Crowder, John Brown, Cole Beasley. All around 30 when the Bills came calling. 1
US Egg
He acted as a professional player, and person, here in a time not so good offensively, and still produced.  Good for him that he’s a young wealthy man.

KDIGGZ
Bobby Trees would be a good #3 if we moved on from Gabe but we need a #2 or maybe a #1 if Diggs wants to leave

KingBoots8
I’d love him back, and maybe the prospect of playing with JA would be appealing, but he didn’t seem interested in signing with us after his first run. Maybe it was the staff, or QB, or Buffalo itself, but I’d be willing to take him in at a team-friendly deal. If I remember he was very well-liked while here. Would be a nice fit if Beas decides to call it a career again.    …that being said, WR in rounds 1-3 please. Yantha
Pass....   We have Gabe Davis and he will rebound next season. Guaranteed. It was a blip.... he'll be back. Plus we can draft a WR for cheaper $$ and have more for the O-line revamp.

Buffalo_Stampede
I would probably take Woods over OBJ at this point. Woods should be further along in his recovery from ACL. 1

Rc2catch
I would love to have Woods back. But no way would I want him back at 6-8 million. He should go back with Mcvay. Their offense really missed him and how they used him everywhere. He’s a perfect fit for what they like their receivers to do.

CapeBreton
Woods was solid in 2021 until he got hurt, then he was on Tennessee last year and their passing game was abysmal. I'd love to see the Bills sign him.

They traded him so I'm not sure he'd be so open to just head back there.  I think he'd have Buffalo on his list of teams. He'd be a perfect WR to add in as a jack-of-all-trades type. Kind of like a younger Manny Sanders (who we missed last year IMO). Also, he'd be pretty familiar with Kromer's schemes which has the WRs blocking quite a bit. I doubt he's going to cost much. 947
I'm thinking no way, but Woods is exactly the type of signing Beane goes for.
Over 29 years of fanhood
Woods skill set, (at least who he used to be) excellent polished intermediate route running, fits Allen’s game perfectly anyway.  Not necessarily a solution but could be a zero risk signing worth a look that could add something to the offense. I’d rather a shot with him over Beasley, Brown or Crowder type guys.
SoCal Deek
Everyone immediately jumps to Beane in these threads, but I have to wonder how much Josh’s opinion is sought out with regards to WRs. Josh isn’t a rookie anymore. Does management ask him what he thinks he needs or who he thinks he can work with?
Brianmoorman4jesus
The guy couldn’t wait to get out of Buffalo but I’d definitely want him back
HOUSE
Oh sure place Isaiah Hodgins on the practice squad with a free pass to NY on a rookie contract.. then sign a 31 year old WR for 8 mil... It's no wonder we are broke... Â 2 1
