But because the refs wanted the automatic review, rather than call what they see, they elected to call a TD which will send it to replay, which in this case will result in a Pats touchdown standing due to inconclusive video evidence. This is definitely the downside of replay - the option for the on-field crew not to make the call according to their judgement, but according to CYA. Ed Oliver has been mostly invisible since the Lions game. Rousseau is our only consistent difference maker. It's exactly what Cinci was doing to us too.
