It’s so funny I totally forgot Diggs used to play for the Vikings

Don’t forget it’s Frazier’s old team, as well.  2010-2013.  Brett Favre, Christian Ponder, Matt Cassel/Josh Freeman (shudder)

Not that he was, overall, a great HC - but at QB, it must be acknowledged they didn’t give him a lot to work with.

Cousins can be scary.  He's a capable QB, but generally not fear-inducing.  Still, every once in awhile he really seems locked in and plays at an elite level.

Cousins loves coming up small in big games. Bills by 10.

I'm not stewing over the loss against the Jets but I almost rather do that than think about Allen's injury.  Hopefully its nothing serious and is just something that will heal on its own.

Its going to be good news: Allen will be fine just a bruise

Not so good news but not terrible: Allen will be fine but has to sit 4 weeks or so

Bad news: Allen is done for the season

The way McD is we will probably just hear Wed that Allen is day to day or something and wont really know until Sunday.

Yeah let me go get mad about the Jets game or something else.

I’m going into “Josh has been dire for five quarters so if Keenum steps in he can’t be any worse” denial mode right now. I’d feel even worse if there were doubts with Josh’s fitness when he was at a peak, rather than a trough.

Keenum can and would be way worse.  Sure, he might catch a team by surprise because no tape in this offense but thats about it.  Allen masks alot.   Our oline, running game, and WR talent is all masked by Josh.  Keenum is a bad QB that struck lightning one time in his career similar to Matt Cassel.

I still think the Bills have the capability to beat every other team in the NFL.  There were a number of things that went wrong in the Jets game.  Of course, we all know about Josh's interceptions and some other poor throws.  The Jets CBs were really strong in their coverage too.  On defense, there was a lot of sloppy tackling for the Bills.  I also thought that Jaquan Johnson struggled in substitution for Poyer.

Looking ahead to the Minnesota game, I think the coaches need to get the team to re-focus.  Winning streaks, like the Bills had, are hard to extend because players can start to think that quality performance has become automatic.  Now that players have been reminded that it isn't automatic, the coaches have to remind them that they can perform at a high level, and remind them that they can still achieve their goal of winning the Super Bowl.  They just have to re-focus.  Getting Tre White back will help too, as will getting their other wounded players back.  I expect Spencer Brown and Jordan Poyer will be able to go next Sunday.  Maybe Milano too.

Vikes have NFC title in mind. I’m very glad we get them at home!

I had 45 minutes to kill before MNF started so I watched the condensed Vikings-Commanders game. The Vikings did not look like a 7-1 team. I haven’t seen any of the other 7 games of theirs this season, but they looked bad. Like below .500 bad. If Allen is okay - both elbow and concussion - I have no fear of the Vikings.

Just need to make the playoffs, then it is on. Giants beat the 18-0 Patsies and barely

made the playoffs that year.

Sure, those things happen from

time to time but the Bills best chance to reach the Super Bowl will be a first round bye and two home games to advance. Anything less than a Super Bowl championship is a failure for the 2022 Bills

Too much interesting stuff to digest from the Jets game to move on this quickly, at least for me.

I know most here don't want to acknowledge anything negative about the team, ever.

For you lot, have fun discussing the Vikings.

So you won’t be back?

Great!

Has anyone noticed that there's only 5 teams in the NFC with winning records, 3 of those teams are in the East, Hawks and Vikings are the other 2. 9 teams in the AFC are above .500.

Vikings have only 1 win vs a team above .500 (they beat a Tua-less Fish), and only 1 of their 7 wins was by double digits (GB 23-7). They've barely beaten a bunch of bad teams.

I just don’t believe Kirk Cousins can duel it out with Allen (if he can stop throwing ridiculous interceptions.) Even if we put them even at offense, Vikings defense is trash so Bills still get the edge there. If they can pull this off it will be a HUGE ego boost knocking off a 7-1 team. Just stop turning the ball over !

This is what I don't get as a fan. As just a fan, I don't need to make my week miserable digesting what happened after a crappy loss. The actual team does that. I get to move on with my life by looking at Vikings information and praying Allen is ok.

The entire team sucked last week, I don't have to stew about it, the coaching staff is not going to take any of my suggestions.

For a team that had the '72 Dolphins worried about their record of being undefeated, celebrating a Bills loss to the Dolphins, the next loss to the Jets was just as unforeseeable and upsetting.  They just came off a bye week.  Why is McClappity resting Milano and Tre' White?  If anybody is overlooking anybody it's him.  He thought they could beat the Jets undermanned?  He doesn't field his best team barring injury?  I don't get it. Overconfidence likely.  Burned by so many screen passes Milano would have sniffed out.  If you're not going to provide the team with the best arsenal it has to win , why even bother?  He said there are no gimme games in the NFL so why didn't he field his best team?  Last year the same deal.  Losing to teams they should beat.  I thought they would have learned that lesson by now and taken nothing for granted.  Vikings will be hungry and the Bills are now the hunters not the hunted.  That means, McClappity has to play his full roster at full strength whenever humanly possible.  McClappity is like that Anthem singer who just can't hit that high note.

Resting Milano?  He had an oblique injury.  We don't know why White didn't play.  White doesn't seem to be too unhappy about it.

Every team loses to teams they are supposed to beat.  The favored team doesn't win 100% of the games.

I do not see us winning this game. We have many weaknesses and they are too easy to take advantage of. Beane screwed the pooch not getting Oline help and getting another RB we do not need. (Cause our Oline sucks) This team has been showing its problems for weeks and now even marginally good teams are taking advantage of us like we are rag dolls. Our expensive (Or maybe not)

whelp, I mean, your username says it all. not knocking your choice of name, just being observant is all.

When you feel hopeless, you may have a sense that things won't improve, you'll never be happy, or you're stuck in life. Feeling hopeless can also feel like helplessness, sadness, apathy, or despair.

Yesterday, when asked about White, McD said he wasn’t ready. Simple as that. I suspect the sloppy turf at MetLife was a factor as well.
