Need a real, consistent #2. Clear as day. Gabe is a match-up weapon that will still make some plays this year. He is not a 2.

Agreed.

Gabe Davis has made some huge plays for us this season but not nearly enough. There is no way they should pay him as a top WR when his deal is up.

I still have faith in Beane.  If he feels this is a coaching issue and we miss or do poorly in the playoffs, expect changes.  I really doubt Frazier is here next year regardless if he gets a head coaching job.  Let's face it, no one is hiring him as a head coach.

It was around this time last year the Bills lost the Jacksonville.  Maybe there's something about early November where they just struggle?  Then hit their stride in December?

2021 - Week nine after a week seven bye, lost 9-6 to the Jags

2022 - Week nine after a week seven bye, lost 20-17 to the Jets

Bills played like they had jet lag. Allen was awful today. Defense was so thin and injury riddled I didnt expect much, but they did enough to win this game.  Dorsey called a pretty mediocre game and not adjusting to the constant pressure cost them the game.  The only silver lining is that the entire group should be embarrassed by that effort and hopefully it will motivate them going forward.

Rousseau leaving the game in the first half decimated the run D

No, Frazier's insistence on playing Nickel is what allowed the Jets to pile up the rushing yards.

This was a continuation of the 2nd half of last week and Frazier was playing like he had a 17 pt lead like last week.

Against maybe the best man cover corner in football. That shouldn’t have been a surprise to anyone.

The defense is the real problem. The Packers and the Jets just laid out the blue print for beating this defense.

Diggs had two decent days the last two weeks, but Davis has drawn CB1 the last two weeks and our offense has really stalled.

I like Diggs, but I don’t think he’s as dangerous with the ball in his hands. Curious if teams are letting Diggs get his yards and taking awar Davis on purpose.

Wish we would get a real focus on running the ball.  Our line is trash at pass blocking too often.  Quesenberry had the guy square in front of him and didn't get any punch and they guy ran right by him.

Is our OL poor at pass blocking?

We are SO predictable.

We barely run.  Ok, fine.  But we also have no short passing game unless it involves a RB.

Dorsey is running a Madden Offense right now.

EVERYONE GO DEEP … That’s not a modern offense.

Throwing a slant or in-route looks like a miracle with this offense.

Nine drives for the offense.   Two turn overs, two punts, missed FG and one on downs.  Scored two TDs and a FG.  Poor game across the board.  Allen cost them a game with his boneheaded INT.   This offense by Dorsey has lost Knox.  Frustrating to watch the most talented team the Bills have had since the 90s play badly.   Six quarters of bad football.

Disappointing for sure. Season is not over, but ideally this will humble the players, coaches, and hometown pundits.  Too many dismissed the Jets and they just ran the ball down our throats and made us look soft and very undisciplined.

Karma is a b*$& and just slapped us in the face.  Josh needs to stop podcasting, thinking about commercials, and get back to being the best quarterback he can be.

McDermott is baffling too me. I am not sure "he has the lockerroom" like most of us hope or see from the post game speeches after a win and he does get outcoached more that we would like to see.

Lots of room to improve, go Bills!

Stop with this stuff, makes you look petty. Endorsements aren’t making him play bad, but comments like this make you look bad

The Doom! posting is pretty wild today.

You'd think we'd lost a Superbowl by 40 or something.

Well, it WAS a pretty awful outing by the Bills.  Coupled with the 2nd half last week, there is a lot to be down about.  We lost ground in both the division and have a razor thin margin on the 1 seed (don't think KC loses more than 1 or 2 more games this year).  The AFC east is no gimme this year.

Time to evaluate who on this team is truly dependable on this roster.

Diggs, Milano, Miller, Groot and…?

Others that we expected to step up (Davis, McKenzie, Oliver, o-linemen, Knox, etc.) have not been consistent contributors.

This team is still capable of winning big, but the complementary players need to develop consistency

Why we don’t win close games? Like KC and Baltimore?

I’ll tell you why we didn’t win today. Josh Allen sucked.

Should it really come down to that?  1 single guy every week?  Not counting on the defense to play defense, hold. Players accountable?  I'm not on the run Edmunds out of town train but he was awful today. The DL was lackluster and looked drained. Drained for nothing, just good ol fashioned run blocking. Didn't try stunts. Didn't put more fat bodies on the OL when it was clear they can't pass.

Offense put a turnstile out there. So coaches didn't change the plan, run play action, do anything. Just kept running Josh on sneaks and hoping we get some errant lucky throw to someone.  They shut down all but Diggs and challenged us to win. We didn't

Special teams giving up a fake punt? A missed kick is ok, it happens. A kick out of bounds, can't do much. But the fake punt?  C'mon. This was a desperate team. No reason to go all in and not protect the fake. Sad.

Gardiner was holding one of his arms and had the other in his face. It was textbook pass interference. They should have been throwing to Gabe all game though and they didn't.

Elite’s make the play. He’s average at best. He’s way too inconsistent.

Not even close. The only person on offense that played consistently great football was Diggs. On defense we are down a bunch of starters. We needed more players including our star QB to make big plays in critical moments.

Bills coached like they were underdogs today.

How many 8 minute drives did the Jets have today, 3?

Playing a bend but don’t break defence against a Zack Wilson led offence. Great idea…

He plays nickle now with a green secondary.  I want to see a 4-3 defense.

The AfterBlow:

1. Buffalo left six points on the field between Bass missing and that early INT by Josh.  Difference in the game.

2. Second week in a row a team has run on the Bills.  Not pretty

3. Injuries mounting up.  Elam, Johnson and now maybe Allen too

4. JETS, give them their due.  They fought to the last down.

5. I don't think Diggs had both feet down.

6. Allen with two more BAD INTS in a game.

7. Weird play call to see Hines on that deep sideline.  Just missed him.

8. In fact Allen's day was punctuated by "just missed him"

9. Jets throwing sidelines sweeps was seemingly unstoppable by Bills.

10. A lot of missed tackles by Buffalo.

11.  On to Minnestota
