Since I live in Colorado, I’ve seen an awful (and I mean “awful”) lot of the Broncos these last few years. Chubb is a very good player. Not so much an edge rusher as a guy who can bring pressure often enough, and also strong against the run. Not a game changer by any means, but he’ll be an upgrade over the guy whose snaps he takes. Kind of a more developed Boogie Basham. I don’t like to see that the Dolphins finally seem to know what they’re doing, but this one doesn’t really worry me. BillsFan4
Sucks but oh well. Miami has gone all in for the next couple seasons. It’s going to catch up to them soon enough, especially if they pay Tua (which seems likely). Buffalo is still the better team IMO.

Sunday was ridiculous; the Lions decided they didn't need to cover either. But maybe I'm looking through Bills-tinted spectacles. Feel free to say it’s all about Hill and Waddle because it certainly is to a large degree, but someone is hitting them often enough for them to dominate opponents, regardless of ball placement. Seems we are quibbling when we need to argue ball placement though. There aren’t too many Drew Brees type QBs and I can recall the same kind of criticisms of a certain QB we’ve all known and loved for five seasons now. LeGOATski
And they just got a CB named Tre White. And their MLB is basically still a rookie. And they have the best QB in the league. There, I think I covered everything.

If you watch closely, his completions are wildly inaccurate but he benefits from speedy wide open receivers. Against good defenses in the playoffs we’ll see how far that takes them. On paper they are a very scary team at the moment, but he is still flawed. I’m not saying he’s the perfect or even a great QB, but he’s doing something right. It’s not all in spite of Tua. But I can’t pretend he isn’t playing great for them so far this season. It’s as if we all just want to ignore what he’s done so far. He's played well against the Ravens and the Lions, basically 4 quarters. Other than that, he's beatable. He's not Mahommes or Allen, or even Hebert. He's closer to Mac Jones with much better receivers. Teams that can move him off his mark will stop him, as well as teams that force him to throw outside the numbers. And his arm strength will he tested in inclement weather. The Dolphins will probably make the playoffs, but their ceiling is division round loser. It’s not all in spite of Tua. You should just give up. I’ve had this argument a couple times now. We all agree that Tua is no Allen or Mahomes. But some people won’t even concede that he’s playing very well and he could easily take them as far as, say, Tannehill took the Titans. Which on a good day with the right breaks makes them dangerous. I think all that criticism comes from a place of fear …

I'd say Hill is slightly better than Diggs (blasphemy?) and Waddle is better than Davis, but take those two away from Josh and he'd still be executing at a high level. I don't think the same can be said for Tua.

Miami fans on the internet are acting like this is a Miller to the Rams type of move. I just don't see it. EDIT: My guess is, since Miami is already over invested with a 1st the pressure is on them to extend him and they pay him Bud Dupree money. Right around $16.5M AAV. Just speculation.
