SWATeam
It's a shame because he was one of the few options on the outside, not that he was a sure thing or anything.
Miyagi-Do Karate
This is actually a good development. It was looking like Stevenson was a possible cut. This will allow the Bills to stash him on IR. I think that last WR spot will be between Austin and Hodgins now. If Khalil can handle kicks, then maybe Austin goes to PS? SWATeam
Just now, Mr. WEO said: Outside what? Guy returned a few punts. Like I said he was no sure thing and a longshot to make the roster, but if he developed he could provide much needed depth as an outside receiver. Don Otreply
Coincidentally, I broke my 5th metatarsal bone in my left foot a couple days ago, (spiral fracture) I will be out for weeks as welll… It made a distinct “POP” noise, I will say it really sucks when you can barely stand up…, oh well, I will bath it internally with Scotch whisky, that shouldn’t help…😜 Edited August 4, 2022 by Don Otreply

Process
Watching him return punts last year was painful. Maybe the worst I've ever seen. Hope he can come back strong and make a career for himself but he wasn't making this team.

FilthyBeast
This team has had some serious bad luck with late round receivers the last few years. Both Hodgins and Stevensons careers in Buffalo are probably going to be very short lived as a result.
RyanC883
this suck. Skilled player, unfortunately keeps getting hurt. Wonder who we bring in as a camp replacement. I'd go for someone with high upside? Perhaps Dez Bryant?
ColoradoBills
Tough break for the lad. I was hoping with enough improvement he could become a primary call up from the PS.
msw2112
I never want to see a guy get injured, but Stevenson had a long injury history in college prior to him being drafted. This has continued into his NFL career. Some guys are just injury prone and he is one of them. I think he was a long shot to make the team anyway and even if he did, it would likely be the Practice Squad. The IR gives the Bills more time to hang onto him and assess his future value to the team, but I don't think he'll ultimately be a roster player for the Bills. They took a late-round flyer on a guy with a lot of speed and some athleticism, but a long injury history. Sometimes things work out with these late-round flyers, but more often than not, they don't, and this looks like one that won't work out. 1

cd1
He kind of reminds me of Marquise Goodwin - Fast but fragile. He needs to bulk up. IMO edited to emphasize fast and fragile not talent. Edited August 4, 2022 by cd1

machine gun kelly
Yeah he was already on the bubble. He’s screwed. Quietly, Tavon, Kumerow, and especially Crowder are doing a big whew. One less competitor. You guys know Shakir, Isaiah, Diggs, and Davis are set. That leave most likely 2, maybe 3. It depends on if they want more D Linemen, based on talent, secondary, etc. as they are only keeping 53. O Linemen and D Linemen get hurt. Our secondary problems are temporary. Kumerow provides value on ST and depth on the outside. Shakir is getting retained. Tavon and Crowder are fuming it out. We’ll see who ends up as the best returner. Farewell and Adieu to youre fair Spanish ladies Marquez.
