Paul Costa
Bills put him in a bad situation today. That being said I can’t remember a O lineman being that bad ever. At any level I have seen. That being said I think this kid is going to be an absolute stud. A fan favorite in the future. A RT version of Gronk.

Rubes
Honestly, I was a little surprised they moved him over to LT. I figured they might keep Brown in the RT spot he's comfortable at, and move Williams over to LT. Williams is not a great LT by any means, but he's played it before, IIRC. But who knows, maybe they were a little worried by a Ford-Brown right side, maybe.

Bob in STL
Brown, a rookie, played his first game ever at LT in the NFL with about 10 games of experience. Never played it before and had only a few days to prepare. It different than RT, a position he has been working at. He had a rough day playing against top tier competition. He said in and the post game interview he was learning on the fly. Learning things like what moves the DE made base on his stance (2 point or 3 point). We had another tackle that had a terrible day on his first start. Howard Ballard, who became a pro bowler, was so bad Jim Kelly chewed him out publicly and didn’t want him starting the next week. Some of you look for perfection on every play and in every circumstance. It’s never gonna happen. Brown will go back to RT and will probably end up one our best lineman someday. 1 2

vincec
I keep reading that Brown should never have been put at LT, but wasn’t he the Bills “swing tackle” coming out of preseason? It was not a tough choice. He was obviously not ready, but that’s due to an overestimation of his current ability, IMO.

Blainorama5
Given the position switch he had to make a few hours before the game, I'm kinda amazed at how much grief he's getting. Switching from one end to the other AIN'T easy with little to no practice time - and Carolina doesn't have a bad D-line at all. Yes, the taunting penalty was stupid and obviously any o-line penalty always hurts, but I like this kid's attitude a LOT. He's going to be good for the Bills for years imo.
