Motor26
Looks like they won’t draft IOL early in the draft. I would love for them to get a legit power guard, something like Ford was supposed to be.

I wonder why he was still around in FA? The Titans had a great run blocking OL in 2019 and 2020. Not so hot in the passing game, but unclear that was on their pass protection and not their philosophy and play design. I woulda thought a team with a sieve of an OL would siphon him up. In any event, he's played G and C so it would seem re-signing Boettger and Feliciano and renegotiating with Morse hasn't stopped the Bills from at least bringing in solid vet competition. 47 minutes ago, DJB said: He played for the Dolphins organization. I expect them to find backup/replacements for Morse and Feliciano (and Star too) in 2022 with 2021 draftees. They would be developmental players. It's hard to start rookie O linemen on a Super Bowl challenger. Draft, develop and let them compete for full playing time in 2022. I think it's important they do that actually and if you want better athletes at the position (which I think should be their goal) rounds 2-4 should offer that opportunity

Don Otreply
Considering how very bad O line depth is league wide, I think Beane is doing very well with these signings, that and as we all know, some of these guys are not even gonna make the team.

Hapless Bills Fan
Apparently he lost his starting job to an UDFA, and the Titans analyst viewpoint is the Titans still need more depth there.
The Jokeman
It never hurts to add cheap veteran depth, that said I'm sure we'll draft someone as Feliciano's contract isn't guaranteed after one year. msw2112
I wonder if this is just a camp body. Didn't they more or less bring everyone back, plus sign some other OL too? Whose spot is he going to take? Perhaps Winters'. Ty is gone too, but he's a tackle and this guy is interior. How many backup spots are available and who's in the mix? I have no issue with this signing or others like it, I'm just wondering what he fits in. Edited April 2, 2021 by msw2112

Remember they need a 90 man off season roster. Can't see how signing has any draft effect at all. Just as signing a few bottom of roster LBs earlier in the week didn't either 2 hours ago, hondo in seattle said: I'll say this about Beane: I think the Bills have the best backups we've had in decades. IgotBILLStopay
kinda shocked by this signing - if there can be someone worse than Winters, it is Douglas. The guy was a sieve and couldnt block anyone's grandmother. I know Titans fans couldnt wait to be rid of him. the only rationale I can think of is that the Bills Oline coach must feel he can mould Douglas into something better. If we get the Douglas of the 2019 / 20 seasons - there is no way he makes the roster.

So yes, he's a camp body, but we need many of them. Some of these guys might make the team, or practice squad, or a in season signing because of injuries.
