Patriot's fans are upset with the officiating.

I laughed on the one play where the New England receiver scored, but the referee mistakenly thought he's stepped out of bounds.Ā  Belichick was out of challenges, so he was helpless to do anything about it.

If that happens again..............the bandwagon will have a LOT of empty seats! I can hear it now: ā€œIf we donā€™t get all the calls, we will take our deflated ball and go home!ā€

When the reply says "You have won countless games due to officiating including the worst call in NFL history" it says something when I'm not even sure which "worst call" call he is talking about - there are literally so many to choose from.

Ā

On the Pats** board one person called it ""Greatest officiating tragedy in the history of the game"Ā :lol:Ā

Ā

F them so hard

Well, what do you expect? Their bribes weren't accepted this week, so they had to go with the backup plan of sending the Chiefs equipment to NJ.Ā

The league is moving in a different direction. Their star player canā€™t cut it anymore. It was bound to happen eventually...Ā

Wait... Do you mean... the Patriots did not get every single call to go their way this week? Dear sweet baby Jesus, shall we cancel Christmas? Ought we write a petition to Robert Kraft to re-open his wallet to the refs? Should we switch from New England to Manhattan Clam Chowder, in hopes that in doing so, Bellycheat's radio-signal jamming system starts working again?Ā

Ā

I am aghast... What ever shall I do?

seriously. They have 19 years worth of getting the benefit of the doubt.Ā Ā Check back in 2038.Ā
They should be upset at their HC challenging a spot call. That was a rookie HC mistake.Ā

Ā

well it was a bad spotĀ

My Nose just Bleeds Blue Buttermilk for those poor people.

Ā

They can get in line behind the Cowboy fans upset about those two tripping penalties called after Belicheck**** lobbied the league, where the NFL actually called them up and said "oh, oops, We bad, Sorry!"

And because of that, not having a challenge to challenge the Harry no TD call.

I get it.Ā  Human nature.Ā  5 straight poor games... probably deserved to lose all 5.Ā  There are adult new england "fans" who have never had to endure such tragedy.

Lash out viciously at an external factor.Ā  Predictable human response.

Ā

Everyone on the patriots side looks ready to blow.Ā  The bills could knock them down to a nightmare wild card round match up against the titans which could essentially end it

In my opinion, the refs in both the ā€œout of bounds at the threeā€ and the ā€œnonĀ fumbleā€ made mistakes that were particularly egregious.

Ā

The wisdom in recent years is toĀ call a touchdown in the first case,Ā and assume a fumble recovery in the second case. Ā Those calls wouldĀ trigger automatic reviews. Ā That the refs made calls that prevented automatic reviews is inexcusable. Ā I know itā€™s a heat of the moment situation, and hindsight is 20/20. Ā But...

Ā

Donā€™t get me wrong, I am glad KC won, but I feel a little dirty about it. Ā

Haha. Yeah, they got screwed in this one. That makes them about 25-1 over the years thanks to the refs.Ā

Yeah, now they may have an inkling as to what every other team has felt.. do they even remember two recent tripping (non-tripping) calls that they were gift by the officials against Dallas? There have been 20 years of calls going their way so piss on the Pats....

Belichick shouldnt have burned all his challenge capital on a spot.Ā  Those are overturned like 2% of the time.Ā  We would roast mcdermott for that

Absolutely true. That said, that was a laughably bad spot. I mean, it wasn't even close.Ā

Ā

That challenge rule actually bugs me. Apparently, if they screw up the spot but still get the first, you lose the challenge even if the refs wrongly granted an extra 1+ yards. Seems to me that teams shouldn't lose challenges over that.Ā

True.Ā  But last drive would have been FG for the win.

Ā

Yes, the Pats got hosed.Ā  I don't feel sorry for them though.Ā  We've gotten hosed many times.Ā  GB got hosed a few times.Ā  NO got hosed a few times.Ā  Many a team has gotten hosed.Ā  Usually the Pats are the ones benefiting from someone getting hosed... which is why I don't feel sorry for them
