Nester
On a scale of 1 to 10 how crushed will your soul be? 10 being so bad you just don't watch the rest of the season. I feel so bad for the Bears right now, wasting the best team they have had since 85 on a dud QB, heralded to be their savior. https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2019/9/6/20853124/mitchell-trubisky-chicago-bears-quarterback-throw-left
RiotAct
4. Would chalk it up to first game jitters / rust, basically. 3

I think he got better in the 3rd and 2nd to last drives when they opened up the offense but after that pick he just melted down.

MJS
It was a defensive slug fest. I didn't see a whole lot to determine that Trubisky was bad besides that end of the game INT. Aaron Rodgers also struggled to move the ball in that game. It ended 10 to 3.

I would be more saddened and less annoyed by all the people who doubt Allen though as I would be more concerned that we had another JP Losman than Carson Wentz.
DC Tom
Zero. I have better things to worry about than Allen being the fifth (sixth? seventh?) coming of Clod Tollins. 1 5

billsbackto81
I didn't expect the GB defense to be exceptional. Average to very good but not exceptional. They made Trubisky look really bad. Whether jitters or game plan or lack of execution, he was bad. To answer your question, I'd be very upset if Josh performs like that. But let me clarify, I won't be upset if we lose as long as he performs well and balls out. 2

MJS
Besides the late game INT, what specifically did you guys see from Trubisky that troubles you? What I saw was good defense. There was one play I remember seeing him miss an open receiver as he was running around in the back field. Most of the time it was just the defenders making good plays. Happy
Disappointed, but I would also know it is only week 1. Josh didn't play a full season last year, so there will be some growing pains that haven't been worked out.

Utah John
Trubisky was going against a D coached by a former Bills HC. Allen will do the same on Sunday. Those are two good coaches, at least on the defensive side. I would like our chances a lot more with Shady in the lineup. Oh well.
