  1. Excellent idea. The world will be a better place if we start with you.
  2. Singletary and Moss are not upper tier RB's and both lack short yardage effectiveness. They are simply too small. However, I agree that the O-line needs to get better in the run game. Improve the O-line and add a banger at the RB position.
  3. This thing ends after most of our population has contracted Covid and recovered. Until then, focus on the array of available treatments which isn't being done in too many places.
  4. Not a bad post. The whole thing from the beginning of the protest was a series of bad acts that culminated in violence. No surprise there. The kid should never have gone there into that powder keg. The governor and city leadership though own a big piece of what happened. The protest should have been shut down the minute a brick was thrown. Kyle's free today but his problems are probably just beginning. There will be a lot of forces working against him in the coming months and years I suspect. Justice seems to have been served at this point but it ain't pretty.
  5. Except it's everyone else's disaster. Not only is he insulated from it, he'll be dead in not so many years.
  6. The agreement to withdraw was done over a year ago and our time was up there. Joe has had months to orchestrate this AND to push back on the Taliban for violating the agreement. It makes Joe look very weak as a leader which he is obviously.
  7. #2 is wrong. We have been training Afghan pilots and maintenance people for at least 10 years and possibly closer to 15 years. We spent $Billions on aircraft, parts, facilities and training. Much of this done by Northrup Grumman and very qualified contractors.
  8. You couldn't be more wrong. The vaccinated are being told to mask up because the vaccines only provide about 6 months of protection and our vaccinated population is gradually moving into an unprotected phase. Many breakthrough cases are happening. Just look at Israel cases where they vaccinated nearly their entire population very early. Their case count is blowing up and is at pre-vaccine levels. Link below. We are headed to the same place. In fact we are there, US cases are at November 2020 levels now. You know who isn't getting Covid now or before? Healthy individuals with healthy immune systems. https://graphics.reuters.com/world-coronavirus-tracker-and-maps/countries-and-territories/israel/
  9. Let's just call this what it is. We knew that if the Afghan forces were challenged, they'd drop their guns and run. We knew the Taliban would take control in short order. For good or bad this administration simply doesn't care what happens there going forward.
  10. I can't think of 2 Americans currently not in jail that make me want to barf more than Barack and Michelle. Well, maybe Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff and Nadler.
  11. Agree the cop used excessive force and provided no warning before firing.
  12. Agree, although the party puts its' thumb heavily on the scale. Without the party Bernie may have been the nominee this time around. Bernie had high negatives like Trump and maybe Bernie wouldn't have cooperated with the stay in your basement we'll cheat you over the finish line as readily as Joe.
  13. Hate to say it but I'm going to agree with you somewhat here. There are things you can do or say in this country that will put your life at risk. The laws won't protect you. The 1st amendment won't always protect you. I'd say breaking into the capital and then forcing your way through doorways or a broken window is one of those things that puts one's life at risk. It's not a legal act but also not one that should result in being shot dead without warning. Now if AB's case is fairly adjudicated, the end result might be that she was wrongfully killed. Too late though, she's gone and she made a terrible decision IMO to enter that building as a part of that crowd that day. The officer may be held responsible civilly. 2 wrongs don't make a right here.
  14. OK serious question here. In light of the Cuomo allegations, who here thinks Kamala Harris would have ascended to the position of VPOTUS had she not provided oral and other gratification to Willie Brown? Obviously the women that Andrew Cuomo hit upon chose not to engage him and were not receptive to his advances. Willie Brown may have initially hit upon Kamala in a similar fashion. Like Cuomo he was a very much older man (than her) and in power. However unlike Cuomo's girls, she engaged willfully and for a period of time and benefited from that relationship. He appointed her to at least 1 position (pun intended). He supported her campaigns for office. So had Kamala rebuffed his advances does anyone here think she would have had the career she's having purely on the merits of her work? Would the merits of her work have carried her to the U.S. senate? I stopped there because we all know she was picked for VP solely on her gender and perceived race and ethnicity. Like so many pols her resume beyond the titles is empty of accomplishment, unless you consider her efforts to obstruct Brett K to the SCOTUS an accomplishment. What do y'all think?
  15. What's really sad and telling is that they only make arrests in about 15% of the shootings and that's been true for years.
  16. Here are the latest Chicago numbers. Just for this weekend, 79 people shot 12 of which were killed. Insane. Update for the weekend: total of 86 shot 13 of which were killed. Good thing for residents the shooters have lousy aim. https://heyjackass.com/ Her responses to the ongoing violence is embarrassing.
  17. Biden will finish his term short of a significant health problem. She'd otherwise get slaughtered in a re-election bid IMO. She can't win the nomination in 2024 either IMO. She's served her purpose which was to check a box in 2020. She's Peter-Principled out.
  18. It's a shame that the full video with audio of her being shot was taken down from youtube and others a day or two after the incident. I saw and listened several times. The officer NEVER gave her any warning verbally to stop. He was hiding in area to her extreme left most likely not within her view. He then stepped out without any warning and fired the shot. She was not armed. Now are there laws that allow police in that location to do that? I don't know but certainly had this been an unarmed criminal on a city street breaking into a building who was then shot without warning by a police officer, the country would have become unhinged.
  19. And not to mention the global shortage of Lithium. Electric cars will win a lot of market share for their simplicity if they are affordable and their range and the convenience of recharging (away from home) improves. Really government needs to just stay out of the way and let the products, technology and market develop.
  20. It was hot way back when Dog Day Afternoon was filmed.
