Mooshocker
So, I love the John Brown and Cole Beasley signings. I think it compliments our current WR's and I also feel it spells the end of Mr. Unreliable, Zay "Hands of Stone" Jones. But lest we forget our own version of DK Metcalf who is already signed, sealed and delivered.....Duke Williams. What say you? 8 1 1

ngbills
The guy that was undrafted, ran a 4.7 40 and played in the CFL? Would not be betting on him being the new WR. He is more likely not even on the roster.

Alphadawg7
I have been saying this all off season, do NOT sleep on Duke. Talent has never been a question, it was off field maturity issues that landed him in the CFL. He has excelled at every level of football he has played. Yes, he has to prove it in the NFL, but he has a head start on any rookie given his CFL experience. This guy has a very good skill set that no other WR on the roster currently possesses. He will a very nice compliment to the speed we just signed. I honestly think he will make a serious push to start. Starters could be Brown and Duke, Beasley out of the slot, and Foster as another deep threat to rotate in.

Aussie Joe
This reminds me of when some people were excited last year when they re-signed Deonte Thompson ... Would love to be proven wrong but I think Duke has a big mountain to climb... This is a deep WR draft and they have plenty of picks so I expect two more WR to be added... I know we all think the CFL is crap but this guy has a legitimate shot to make the roster. He has great hands and makes the contested catches.

buffalobillswin
I have no problem with slipping into DMs. I've done it multiple times myself (just not with famous people). You miss 100% of the shots you don't take!
glazeduck
Think about Duke like a free lottery ticket... Sure, he's got a chance to hit, and if so, you're in the money with absolutely nothing invested! If he doesn't, and odds are probably against him hitting, it's (hopefully) nothing you were counting on as an investment strategy... VW82
Part of me wonders if we'd be this excited about a guy named Fred Williams. There's just something about the name "Duke" that inspires confidence. Edit: also, the CFL is a great place for a WR to hone his craft. I've always wondered why more stand outs there aren't given the same chance. Edited March 12, 2019 by VW82
transplantbillsfan
Personally, I'm not excited about the Beasley signing... I was very much hoping we'd get Humphries as our slot WR, instead. I don't have a ton of faith Williams will prove to be worth anything, but I'd love it if he did. Regardless, Brown was a really solid addition to our WR corps... just gotta hope he can stay healthy. I'm sure McBeane will be drafting a receiving stud in the 2-3 round range to compete with Zay, Duke and McKenzie. I think Brown, Foster and Beasley are locks to start.

Cole has hands and foster earned that last spot last year. Plus two speed nbn guys and one of the best possession guys in the league. I like it, all three spots filled for less than one AB diva.
