RPbillsfan
This is based on Bills getting C Matt Paradies, RG Ramon Foster and RT Darryl Williams in Free Agency. Also assume Bills resign Jordan Phillips and Jordan Mills. Let's also assume we add TE Jessie James or Max Williams and WR Chris Conley or Tyrell Williams. I'm also assuming that Joe Flacco is traded to Washington for 3rd round pick in 2019. Tyrod signs in Jacksonville. Antonio Brown dealt to 49ers for 2nd round pick and Solomon Thomas Now here is my mock draft: 1. Arizona - no viable trade offers so Cardinals take best player at position of need. DE - Nick Bosa 2. San Francisco - Tough choice between Quentin Williams, Josh Allen and Greedy Williams. More QB pressure is determined to be higher position of need. OLB/Edge - Josh Allen 3. New York Jets - Two high areas of need, offensive skill position and pass rusher. Clelin Farrell available and Decide to turn down offers from Giants and Jags and select: Edge - Clelin Farrell 4. Oakland Raiders - 13 sacks says it all, Raiders need top DL, would prefer edge but 1st three picks take best players so stay on D line and select: DT - Quenten Williams 5 - Trade - Jacksonville trades up to get in front of the Giants by sending their first and 2019 2nd to Tampa and select: QB - Dwayne Haskins 6. NY Giants - As much as QB is a need area, Giants not willing to trade up or take a player rated below others on the board. Still have needs in the O line and BPA if moved to guard is: OT/G - Jonah Williams 7. Tampa Bay - Bucs have glaring need at CB, simple choice at position of need: CB - Greedy Williams 8. Detroit - Biggest weaknesses are at WR and LB, BPA is at LB: ILB - Devin White 9. Buffalo ok folks I've given you my thoughts on free agent signings, key player movement and the top 8 choices. Do the Bills, stay at 9 and pick, trade down and if a trade down with whom and what would they receive in return? Looking forward to reading your thoughts

Looking forward to reading your thoughts Paradis and Williams will both be sought after by O-line needy teams like ourselves. They will both cash in big time so I don't see both on the team. My money is on Williams at RT because of the Carolina connection. One of Conley and Williams are possibilities, I like Tate personally. I would assume they go BPA between DT and OL in the first and WR in the 2nd. TE maybe a FA or 3rd rounder or later.
Augie
What if I did everything in FA and before #9 different? This gives me bad flashbacks to Finance classes in college. I don’t want to walk up to the board after what the first 3 people did! I can’t take over from THERE, because I’ve never been THERE before! . lacoy38
I’d trade down but not sure who would be willing to trade up . Right there I’d go BPA- Ed Oliver DT. Guys like Cody Ford or Greg Little would be a reach at 9.
billvernsays
Oliver, Gary, or Ja’waan Taylor. Assuming this is how the board fell, I think we’d try to trade back. I wouldn’t be surprised if teams are calling to get a QB and may be willing to give us a premium for our pick. If Devin White doesn’t go right a head of us I think we’d take him @ 9 and move Edmunds to the outside. I think he’s (D.White) the next Patrick Willis. BuffaloBillies
That's a coup in FA. If all that happens (minus Mills, I hope), then trade down in your super, hypothetical game of strategery.

Alphadawg7
Why is Solomon getting traded to the Steelers? I don’t see that ever happening. Brown is not going to fetch that much, especially in this deep WR class. That’s last years 3rd overall pick and a 2nd rounder. I won’t say never, but I can’t see anyone giving that much up for a 30 year old WR, even one as good as Brown. Plus Steelers have little leverage here. There are too many variables in this whole mock, free agency, and trades that I can’t even put much thought into this Bills pick. But I would say N’Keal Harry or DK Metcalf. Tenhigh
Tenhigh thinks Marc shoid change the thread title. If Marc would have titled it as a "what would you do" thread, Tenhigh thinks it woulda had a fighting chance. Marc should consider adding whether or not the Bills had a trade offer. 10 is also gravely concerned with the "1st" in the title.
