Joseph inactive I don't get.  Von, a blind man could see that coming.

You'd have to think that meant Daquan is really up and going for that to happen, but still I thought he was the better player than Poona unless I'm missing something, don't know why we wouldn't want both of them playing.

I haven’t been impressed by Joseph. He seems to play very upright.

Think Joseph only played like 30 snaps last week.  With Jones back he can play close to that many , add in in AJ back which mean Groot can shift inside on a few plays.  Last but certainly not least, from everything I read, last week, both Settle and Ford out played Joseph.

OLB Von Miller is a healthy inactive today vs. the Patriots.

I would only dispute the bolded

Give the coaches credit here.

his numbers are down due to not being 100%.  Sure, he’s healthy to play.  Just not on his elite level.

Save him for a run. If he’s even 100% then.  But if anything he’s super depth.

Kind of funny he got his usual vet rest day midweek.

Agreed. I'm far from a McDermott fan, but this isn't an easy decision. Good on him.

I’ll throw out 2 thoughts:

1. McD probably expects the Patsies game plan to be run, run and run some more.  Given the state of their QB and WRs, that’s a decent guess.  Hence, he wants big guys up front.

2. He needs to light a fire under Von.  It’s no secret Von has been underwhelming since his return back in week 5, is it?   That’s too much playing time and no production.

for an injury he’s been medically cleared on?

You can make something up and put him on IR or even put him back on IR for the knee. He really isn’t contributing and is a liability on the field. At this point in the season I don’t see him helping us at all. Might as well get someone out there who can help us
