If the national outrage is anything like the local outrage they need to just pick a name immediately and move forward. I’ve never seen a bunch of boomers who haven’t lived in the area for 30+ years get so bent out of shape about a school changing from “Indians” to something else. For those who are offended by it, there's no information that would persuade them it is inoffensive or not intended to be in any event.
