Rc2catch
McKenzie seems like a very fun and good hearted guy. But he was very disappointing to watch last year. I never wanted to see him play for the Bills again. I do wish him success wherever he ends up. It’s hard not to root for him for me.
No_Matter_What
It was always a possibility once we kept/restructured Hines and added Harty, but I didn’t think it will happen before TC (and I know he was due some $300k or so today). Wish him all the best. He was a good Bill.
TOboy
This one has me so conflicted. Like lil dirty, his personality has been part of this team through its rise. But given his cap hit, his propensity to drop passes, and the fact that he really didn’t step up when given the opportunity last year, it makes complete sense. Still, a part of me is sad to see him go.
WhoTom
Understandable. Good on the end-around plays, but not much of a receiving threat.

No_Matter_What
Btw this looks like we are going to get a WR somehow very soon. I doubt we are going to enter the draft with just 4 NFL receivers on the roster.

Logic
He was a worthwhile roster spot in Daboll's offense, but not so much in Dorsey's. Last year was his big chance to step up and claim the long term slot role, and he didn't seize it. Will always be thankful for his contributions during his time here, and I'm sure he'll be sorely missed in the locker room. From a purely football standpoint, though, this had to happen. 1

SCBills
Honestly sad to see him go. It was inevitable after last year, and had to happen, but he’s a good guy and was one of the last remaining pieces from when we picked Josh Allen and turned this franchise around.
BigdaddyinOrlando
Was a fun player to root for and a good story. Definitely needed to upgrade his position and I believe they have! Good luck Lil Dirty! I wouldn’t be surprised if he winds up w the Giants.

Bills!Win!
He was perfect as a 5th receiver who would catch 12 screen passes a year and a jet sweep or 2 every game. He outplayed his role in the pats game that one year but could never permanently establish himself as a 3rd receiver. Good luck Edited March 17, 2023 by Bills!Win! LEBills
Always like McKenzie the guy. Did well in Dabolls offense as a gadget guy but couldn’t successfully expand his role as a returner or slot receiver. Thankful for what he did provide but it was time for a change.

May Day 10
I like McKenzie a lot. Had some good times here and I like him as a person. I get why they need to move on from him though. It was frustrating at times last year, he didnt seem to have a huge fire for going to get/fight for the ball and it cost the team at times. Im not a huge Dorsey hater, but Dorsey didnt use McKenzie effectively either to enhance his physical strengths.
