Iverwig
McD is a good coach but he’s not on Taylor or Reid’s level. I’m not his biggest fan and want a new staff but I already know he will be back.

BeavercreekBillsFan
Must be a harsh reality to those who bashed us that called this all week. This was always a bad matchup for us but more importantly I HOPE (can’t stress that enough) that this gets frazier canned and McDermott (although that’s not happening). Will you all admit Beane isn’t all that great either finally? Hasn’t drafted a pro bowler in 4 years. Holes everywhere.
Nextmanup
Just now, TheFunPolice said: Coaching is not good enough. So much investment in the defense and they can't stop anyone when it matters. Offense doesn't play smart and doesn't play situational football. Other teams can be down to 3rd string QBs or without multiple starters on the line and totally dominate I hope this game turns a light on, and the franchise realizes certain things are not working correctly against the big dogs when the games matter most. The roster should be a good bit different next year. Will the coordinators be the same?

Not even considering we have one of the best qbs to ever play football. Coaching needs to address the Offense heavy in the draft or they should be on the hot seat. They obviously can not evaluate the DL well. We should have the #1 DL in the league based off our draft capital and FA contracts spent. They are somehow garbage. Stop with it. Just stop with the Defensive draft and FA signings. It has absolutely failed to this point Edited January 22, 2023 by Gunsgoodtime

Billever76
Everyone still trusting that process?..everyone praising bean for spending all that money on the defense that couldn't sniff burrow behind a backup oline?.....how is that defense beginning with TAMPA doing in Buffalo?...when does Allen deserve an innovative offense minded coach? Sammy Watkins' Rib
McDemott will start the 2023 season on the hot seat. The reality is when expectations are high just making the playoffs no longer cuts it. Forget who it was, maybe @Chaos ?but they did a great breakdown of how a head coach and QB combo will win the Super Bowl within the first 5 seasons of being together. McDemott and Allen are going into year six next season. They are currently going backwards. Allen isn’t going anywhere.

Really have to cut down the turnovers next year. Josh didn't play amazing but today sure as hell was not his fault. Not even close. Bills saw schemes from the Bengals that were built to beat the bills. Bills were completely unprepared for it. Not to mention we saw a franchise that gave their QB 4 recieving options better than the bills 2nd best option.

Coach Tuesday
Let’s have a real discussion. When you play a straight scheme on D, you’re completely susceptible to being manipulated by a smart QB who can use his eyes to move defenders around. The Bills telegraph what they’re going to do on offense and dare offenses to execute against it. They ALWAYS have trouble with cerebral QBs who can move Edmunds and Poyer out of the way with their eyes. That’s the issue with the scheme we run.
