Popular Post Simon
Both of them with fearless and intelligent outings tonight. The Bills are going ot be relying heavily on these two kids and they both look like they belong already. Like all corners, they're going to lose a few battles, but they both know exactly what they're supposed to be doing, where they're supposed to be doing it and neither one is afraid to go get there. 42 12 11
EmotionallyUnstable
No doubt. loved seeing some excellent run support. Benford had a fantastic edge set on a Henry toss and Elam had a nice open field tackle (I don’t remember who). Those two plays stick out because they offer more to this defense than just coverage ability. Which by the way, they both had their own PBIs that were notable. Kudos here also to the relentless pass rush 4

HappyDays
We were walloped with injuries at almost every position on defense tonight and didn't miss a beat. One positive drive given up. McDermott's culture works.

boyst
That seam that got ran against Elam where he was committed too far under was brutal for him. The titans tried to come back to it but couldn't. I know this is a corner thread but Edmunds is helping out these young CBs by holding the middle.

I'll mention Taron Johnson playing extremely well which let's our LB's cover the QB. This gives the CBs matchups against the players and zones they need to succeed with our duo of WRs splitting cover 2. A double layer cover 2 shell for the laymen. We have poyer and Hyde over top. Milano and Edmunds underneath Then you have Johnson out there covering the heavy. We could not run tbis without two good coverage LBs, specifically Edmunds on the strong side with Johnson. 1

Amen- -props to our coaching staff for getting them ready. -props to Brandon Beane for drafting the best player in nfl history and trading for Stefon Diggs. Stay healthy boys- that’s all we need. John from Riverside
I am watching corners that got drafted ahead of Elam struggle big time in the NFL right now while McDermitt continues to work his corner magic with Elam and a late round pick Both of them appear to have some sand

RyanC883
pleasantly surprised to see how well Elam tackled. I thought that was his issue pre-draft. Benford's early tackle where he shed a block and took down Henry seemed to set a tone on D. Was great all around by these guys.
DocLawless
They stepped in due to not so great circumstances and not only held their own, but played well. However, I think it's worth noting that it was against a very sub par wide receiver group. Woods is the titans #1 receiver by a large margin, and probably shouldn't be any teams #1 at this point in his career. Next week will be drastically more challenging for them.

I'll never figure out where this narrative came from. 🤷♂️ I never saw a single piece of film that made me question his courage or desire to attack ballcarriers. He was a physically aggressive corner and a very willing tackler in every bit of video I watched.
